Vladimir - really appreciate your channel. I love your aesthetic/style. As for the osmocote ... I'm fascinated! Were there any unusual challenges that came up during the initial tank setup/stabilization phase that you could share?

Thanks!! Appreciate it. Everything goes normally with the osmocote, nothing special. Osmocote gradually releases nutrients and the plant feeds (osmocote cannot burn the root of the plant).

Btw, how you retrive your sand like new, when it is been used or mixed with soil during an aquascaping and now you need tha sand for any other aquarium??

As for the sand, I try to physically separate the sand as much as possible from the soil in the aquarium when I do the setup. So it will be as easy for me to separate it later and use it again. If it happens by chance that sand and soil mix together, I use a sieve through which sand can pass and the soil does not.

Thanks!! Yes, the sand is wet because I washed it before putting it in the aquarium. This is quartz sand.
