I don't think its a coincidence this release is coming in hot with a incoming data slate. So good chance he might get added into that. The SM2 game has him regain wounds after a kill. I thought that might be overpowered in 40k but then Deathguard got an enhancement that refreshes all wounds at the end of a turn, so I don't think its so far fetched now.
Why they didn’t release a spacemarine 2 squad to release along side of the game is baffling to me. They clearly haven’t heard of the saying ‘strike while the irons hot’
Probably did not expect the success. I mean SM 1 got a bit more lukewarm reception when it came out. That SM2 was one of the best games of the year and everyone talks about it took them by surprise.
They had no idea whether it would be a hit or not. Not like there haven't been lots of disappointing 40k video games that didn't warrant any miniature co releases
Maybe a controversial opinion but I have Titus and I’ve got to say the pose is really good, very dynamic and unique. I’ve converted him for my black Templars, removing any ultramarines symbols and he’s currently primed on my painting desk
I dunno, I guess these ballerina poses are a marmite thing. Some people apparently really like the way jump intercessors are posed, but I think they look ridiculous. How do you feel about the pose on haarken worldclaimer? I feel like that's the one that pushes it furthest.
@@lorddashdonalddappington2653 I agree about the jump intercessors seeming off, I think it's because they are posed as being in flight but we get no sense that the jump pack is doing anything. Once I saw a model with 3D printed smoke that 100% fixed the issue for me, they look amazing if you add that: deadlyprintstudio.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/jumpack_assault_intercessors_squad_leader_1_S.jpg deadlyprintstudio.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/jumpack_assault_intercessors_model_1_S.jpg
It seems like a pretty easy mini to convert too, doesn’t seem like there are that many sculpted on ultramarines details? Still recognisable as Titus but could be converted and run as a generic lieutenant without much fuss I think
@@lorddashdonalddappington2653definitely seems to be a love it or hate it thing, but generally I prefer these more dynamic poses , particularly within a gaming context where it gives the sense of your army being in motion. I can see why others would prefer something more static but generally I find that it makes for a more interesting mini to paint and play and is an effective way to convey characterisation through the character’s fighting style.
@@laurenbastin8849 For my part... I don't mind minis that look like they're running or something like that. I think (non-jump) Assault Intercessors are fine (though I wouldn't go any further), since they look like they're in motion while (mostly) remaining grounded. My issue is with figures in "ballerina" poses, where they're up on one foot, on their toes, and often perched precariously on some tactical debris. They just look silly. If I ever wanted jump intercessors for my marine army I'd use the grounded assault intercessors and source some jump packs to stick to their backs. Shame GW stopped selling jump packs around the same time they released jump intercessors. I wonder why...
I just so love this channel keeps me updated. Also I am suprised that Kill Team with the Rattlings comes so soon after the Kill Team Starter Box thought I had some time so my wallet does not explode I guess I was wrong. Death Korps of Krieg Kill team repacked is gonna treat me nicely in addition to the cunning box
hopefully they do for the krieg that is done for the voidscarred corsair and have 2 ways of building them out so you can kitbash in a krieg infantry and a veteran squad from 1 kill team box.
yeah I'm looking forward to Tankbustas and Ratlings! Some of the reboxed Kill Teams are nice, it gives us a few more options for Imperial Agents, but I'm scared for the prices.
Titus would've looked way better in the Deathwatch colors. Alas, he had to undergo the rubricon procedure so we've ended up with yet another Primaris Lieutenant instead :pepe-hands:
Was really looking forward to painting up Titus but if you read the article it states: "He will only be available at Warhammer stores, and won’t be available in Japan or China." really no idea why they won't sell in Japan.
I’m curious how much these just kind of randomly coming out in a big wave is going to hurt people willingness and ability to buy them. I know I didn’t expect the kill team set until next year so my budget is already directed towards gifts for friends and family.
i was planning on the hive storm box since i collect both tau and A-M yet i couldn't justify the price for essentially the too kits for my 40k setting.
So now the question is will GW have made enough of the KT expansion that it won’t sell out in 3 seconds or are they still preying on gamer FOMO with these? Also, I expect the Aquilions to also sell out quite quickly. And, you gotta love how GW is going to price a single model MORE than the box set that the exact same model comes in but which also includes 22 other models and additional components. Some things never change (or if they do, only change for the worse).
With current rules, they are pretty damn bad. People are hoping that as the new models look heavier armoured and can take either full ranged or full melee weapons, they will get new datasheets that are better.
Currently, no. I think people are hoping for a new datasheet as the killteam is different than the current one. Ie. Bulkier armor, an extra boy, and some different wargear options that aren't in the current list. On a more cynical note, they'd pobably buff the rules for no other reason than to push the kit.
@@hyrumcastaneda1427 I mean, even just giving them a 4+ save alone is a massive buff to Tankbustas as they currently sit... Hell, at this point, outright removing the unit from the game is still a buff, that's how beyond raging dumpster inferno tier they've been all edition!
The Terrain is a throw off to me, I have rn already 3 kill teams, the rattlins would make me, but not to sell everything else... Definetly not like the hivestorm box!
@chetmanley1885 Yes I know and this is a stupid cashgrab. Changing teams just so you can sell more boxes. I hope the community is as mad as I am and they change the plan.
"Reboxed kill teams", but the Krieg kill team is still completely unlisted. Oh, how I love being made to wait because they arbitrarily decide to take products off listing. And for what? FOMO, baby!
Finally.
A new primaris lieutenant. I was getting worried.
It has actually been a while lol. Since Leviathan box.
I do enjoy that Titus looks like he's angrily playing hopscotch 😂
Me when I try to activate Titus’ Fury mode on tabletop but he rolls 6 ones and dies to grots
Does this Mean Titus is getting his own Datasheet? That’d be pretty hype for my Ultramarine army.
He most likely will have the vanilla Lieutenant datasheet, unfortunately.
@@KingFlameHawk Vanilla lieutenant cant take a chainsword

@@LordCrate-du8zm surprisingly, no they can't! I just checked in the app, your options are CCW, Power Weapon, or Power Fist.
They will literally release 40,000 Ork/Militarum Kill Team boxes before they'll release a single AdMech box.
That's so weird. Where is the admech explorator team?
No one would be able to afford it anyway.
they made 4 militarum kill teams

most likely didn't line up with their release schedule they kinda got a over a year of backlog.

Fine.. take my teef. Just slide them Tankbustas over.
Tiny Ratling Dog! Already the best kill team this year.
Hmm... I really want Tankbustas, but don't want the Ratlings.
We'll have to both work out how we're going to Split the Box
Krieg is the biggest pain. If I would like to make them into 40k infantry I'm STILL overpaing (since the datacards and stuff)
Recommend the Les Grognards kit from Wargames Atlantic. Comes with 20 Krieg esque bodies but you need to buy bases separately

Infinite and Devine will sell out as fast as any seige of terra LE, mark my words
Gonna still try to get a copy though. I've heard it's one of the best 40k books ever written.
Mainly just want the Ratlings. I'll just find someone breaking apart their B&C box and grab that, or just wait it out for the standalone release.
I was very fortunate that someone at my local shop just slid up and said "you like Orks right". Deal done on the spot.
I can't be the only one that sees those ratlings, and thinks. those look like they will make great gobbos.
Full release before the preorder, nice.
I'm going to need all your Tankbustas James Workshop.

I find it weird that Titus doesn't have either of the helmets he wears in the game. No skull, no laurel.
Funny af about the solo titus model, I know several people who bulk bought the starter sell to resell it 😂 now they get all the tyranids
Slept on Titus. I need to get him so i can turn him into a blood raven. Also need some hobbitsies.
I'll be getting that killteam box.

so tank busters seem less ranged, hope there is options as badmoons are dakka orientated
That terrain box is looking nice. I'll be picking that one up if the price is right.
Guess I’ll give a call to the FLGS and see if I can get a preorder in for B&C. I have a feeling that it won’t be hanging about long.
