I love the Main Street Station. I have had both their breakfast and Friday / Saturday night dinner buffet. Was just there 3 weeks ago. It is one of my favorites!!!!
What I love about your channel is you don't just load up on a few of your favorites at every buffet....you try a little bit of 9 million different things! Great way to do the most informative reviews
We were locals when Main Street Station opened--with a lot of help from the city. This was back when EVERY casino had a buffet. Still, I recall that this one was very good and a good deal for the price. Good to hear they've kept it up post-pandemic.
Went there for Father’s Day with my crew who are picky eaters. They all gave this buffet a two thumbs up based on price, service, food quality and ambiance.
Thanks Ruby nostalgic for me. That buffet has been there along time. I ate there in the early 1970's with my mom, aunt and uncle. It looks the same and the food was great! I'm 66 years old today.
Oxtail stew is no longer served on the buffet. All the folks from Hawaii cried when they had to get their OXTAIL fix from the coffee shop since it was only served after 10 pm.
Was just there this week. So good to see a buffet downtown! You gave a very fair review. We were there only for the breakfast portion of the buffet, but much of the other fare did look delicious. I have to say that a lot of the food looked slightly better than it tasted, but nothing I ate was disappointing ( with the possible exception of the rather moist scrambled eggs). We’ll definitely go back on our next visit and, yes, the atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing.
Hey Ruby! I just went to Vegas last weekend and went to Wicked Spoon after seeing your updated video on it. We had a great meal and a great trip. Love watching your videos and getting ideas for my trips!❤
Scrambling eggs at too high a temperature results in runny eggs because the cooking time is too short to allow eggs in incorporate their internal moisture. This tends to happen when a kitchen is cooking a LOT of eggs at the same time.
Your food reviews always crack me up. Your facial expressions say a million words. Hilarious! Thank you for sharing the updated buffet spread at Main Street Station...🤣
I usually come to LV for a week and spend two nights downtown. This buffet is almost always one of my stops. I love Main Street Station's decor, I like playing there, and the hotel rooms are OK (but ask for a room on the downtown side, not the freeway side).
: ) THANKS MUCH for sharing and re-visiting ! It's my go to place, and prefer to stay off the Experience noise.... sadly it was 5 years ago when I was there : ( Love the corn beef hash and Hawaiian section, Yummmmm ! ALL the BEST and Cheers ! ! : )
Stayed at the ms two weeks ago - didn’t try the buffet but had a great stay the room the service the gambling floor and the service were all excellent!
Last time I stayed in the Fremont district. I ate there and actually enjoyed the food. I would have to say the only reason why I would come back is the staff were so nice down there I was talking to one of the servers and he said he had been there for almost 30 years and his other co-worker had been there for almost 40 years. You know it's a good place when they take care of their employees
Great review Team Ruby!! I have eaten at the Garden Buffet many times (always for breakfast). It is a solid option, nothing overly fancy, however, everything is always good, never any complaints.
That final comment was everything. Older viewers / travelers are frequently able to have breakfast and skip lunch, not being hungry again, legitimately, until dinner time.
I missed the buffets before Covid but this buffet and its sister buffet in the Fremont had a SEAFOOD night that was epic. The Hawaiians on the junket ( Vacations Hawaii ) made the buffet almost like a family luau. Luckily I still have very fond memories. Sadly, this is the last downtown buffet still standing. Hopefully it will see dinner service 7 days a week. The prime rib on weekends is worth the trip.
We always have at least 2 meals here staying at the California. Awesome honest review we think price to food is a great value. I'm diabetic and they have low sugar desserts i appreciate that.
I ate there in 2022 (it was $4 cheaper then). I LOVED the Shoyu Chicken. The staff was excellent, the food was great, the price is right. I stayed downtown and I wish there were more buffets left there, but I was very impressed with this buffet.
😅😅😅I tried breakfast lunch and dinner there. Excellent selection. Prime rib dinner is Friday night and Saturday night for around $32.00. Good buffet. You do need to salt and pepper your food as everyone has a different palate. Good buffet for the money
Ruby, I'm a big fan of your reviews: you don't drag them out unnecessarily, and you're candid when you don't care for something. Would I try the Main Street buffet? Probably not, because at my age, I just can't eat enough to make any buffet worthwhile. But thanks for your good work!
I'm glad you enjoyed there brunch as i had there dinner buffet last year and it was horrible. I'm a big buffet guy and always go to one or two when I'm in Vegas.
When we lived in Vegas, the Main Street Buffet was our go to buffet. We liked it over all the rest available in Vegas. price was reasonable and atmosphere was wonderful.
Hey Ruby, great to see you. This is one of my fave place for breakfast 👍🤠. It’s simple & does the trick. I enjoy making a breakfast sandwich, from all the good stuff. I use to luv the carve turkey with veggies 😋
I liked going there. I'd stay at the Cal and my stay came with dining credits. Since the same company owns Main Street, not a problem to use it at the buffet.
I would try it. It seemed good just looking at it in the intro. For watery eggs, I would probably try to work that out by adding some butter & cheese. I wish the Mexican section had birria but would still enjoy what they got. Seeing the mashed potatoes, brown gravy, & mac & cheese made me think about how I miss American buffets... Love the buffet videos. 😊
It should be up to each customer to season their own food. Some people can’t have too much salt so that is why the food doesn’t have it added while being cooked.
Watch all your buffet reviews and can I make a couple suggestions? I’ve seen others on here also say, can you do a walk by and show all the stations? You mainly always just show what you’re choosing, and can you let people know if there is a time limit on the buffets? Thanks! Great video.
lost wages.Never been to Los Vegas.Went to Reno on vacation back in the 1980's. Haven't been back since.Oh well maybe someday. Food looks good.New subscriber.Good luck.
Main Street Station Buffett was always a favorite of mine. Along with The Great Buffett on Boulder Highway at Sam's Town. The Great Buffett didn't reopen after COVID. Don't eat bacon, sausage, or pork. Boyd Gaming Hotel/Casinos usually have good food. Omlette Station is better than eggs laying around. Had a Frittata when I went on a cruise on a Carnival ship. Like Chocolate Moose.
Ruby, enjoy your reviews. However, when a reviewer complains about a food needing salt and pepper why not add those seasonings then retry? Underseasoned is soooo much preferred to over seasoned as salt n pepper and others can be added.
Thoughts on Main Street buffet? Would you try it?
I love the Main Street Station. I have had both their breakfast and Friday / Saturday night dinner buffet. Was just there 3 weeks ago. It is one of my favorites!!!!
You need to do Dinner!
Of course I would try this place!!!!
Definitely
Was just there last week. Their brunch was amazing
More Downtown content please ! Thanks for doing this one.
Totally worth the money. Great selection! Thank you for reviewing!

Definitely worth the money. There is a home made vibe to the food. Loved the sausage
Now that I've watched this, I'll try it again. Thanks!

Early 70's it didn't open until 1978

@@ANGRYWOLVERINE2060-ft2nc do you ever go to Las Vegas?
Just left there last night. Been looking for you everywhere! Couldn’t have done our trip without your tips. Thank you Ruby!!❤️
Really appreciate your detail with each item, another banger vid. Main Street buffet is one of our favorites
Love their buffet when they serve oxtails! 😋👍👍
Oxtail stew is no longer served on the buffet. All the folks from Hawaii cried when they had to get their OXTAIL fix from the coffee shop since it was only served after 10 pm.
Welcome back Ruby
We always enjoy your food reviews! Thank you for bringing us along

Love Wicked Spoon - yum!!
Had their dinner buffet 7 years ago. Local recommended. Was so good and a good price.
We're always looking for great deals on food in Las Vegas. Thanks for the heads up!👍

Great detailed review as always Ruby. Always liked here
Looks totally worth it!

Loved the video, great review as always.
I always make sure I’m hungry when I watch your buffet revues!

Excited to see your take on the Main Street Station Garden Buffet! It's always nice to find a buffet in downtown. Hope it's worth it!
This buffet review made me hungry! Another great video Ruby! Thanks!!!
Loved the look of this place ✨✨✨
Excellent review/video!
GREAT choices for traditional American Cuisine!!🥰
I love watching your reviews! It would be great to see Mr. Ruby!
Great video 👍👍good price, the buffets are getting so expensive in Vegas. This one seemed great for the price.
I would like to try the buffet. If I ever get to Las Vegas again.
We’ve been to the Main Street buffet many times. We love it! We’ve been there for brunch and their holiday buffet.

We always take in the Main Street Buffet, it's wonderful! We also prefer to stay Downtown and that makes this a perfect choice.
Great video as usual! 💖
Thank you for the new video!

I ate there 2 weeks ago, the quality was great and a good selection, for the price you just cant beat it!
It all looked pretty darn good!
it is a beautiful building, ive had buffet twice, it was great -i go low carb in morning, room for more bacon, sausage and beer.
Yams are starchy and more earthy tasting and they can't be eaten raw because they are toxic. Sweet potatoes are sweet root vegetables.
That’s good to know. I never understood the difference before
Love a good buffet review

Wow looks pretty good. I would definitely go there
Brilliant! Need to try on my next trip!
The French toast looks ok and the potatoes. The omelette looks good too.
A must when we visit Downtown. 🤙🏾
Just ate there Monday and it's still good for the price. It's a beautiful place!
Great choices I used to go there when my kids were little. Tfs❤

I'm glad you enjoyed there brunch as i had there dinner buffet last year and it was horrible. I'm a big buffet guy and always go to one or two when I'm in Vegas.

The yams were my favorite, that whole section really

I Miss the brisket , ham hocks & black eyed peas , the collard greens . The old Asian section too .
I went here my first time I ever stayed in downtown. We were at the Plaza and it was a short walk over to the Garden Court
I liked going there. I'd stay at the Cal and my stay came with dining credits. Since the same company owns Main Street, not a problem to use it at the buffet.
Great video!
For the cheesecake could've put the strawberry sauce from the french toast on it
My family and I used to go there after a long ride and it's worth it 👌 😋😋😋😋😊
You can go online and look for Mellow's Portuguese sausage. The best. Chirico and linguisa original.
That Hash looks like it came right out of the Hormel can. I’ve enjoyed their affordable brunch before. Nothing fancy but super filling.
Its good food and a great price. Well worth the price. Selection varies. Does the job
I would try it. It seemed good just looking at it in the intro. For watery eggs, I would probably try to work that out by adding some butter & cheese. Haven't had the MS buffet in 10 years, but I had pretty much the same experience. It's a decent buffet in a pretty room. I would eat here again.
I haven't been there in maybe 7 or 8 years. The brunch cost was 6.99 for ruby members. It looks like the food hasn't changed
chin chin in new York new York has a brunch buffet excellent food American style
It should be up to each customer to season their own food. Some people can’t have too much salt so that is why the food doesn’t have it added while being cooked.
We stayed at Main Street Station and ate at their buffet. It is awesome
Ruby @ 3:27....".....if I had some ketchup.....".......there was a bottle of ketchup behind you on the other table......oh well.
Ruby I love you!!!! I’M ready to see you travel to all 5⭐️ casinos all over the world!!! Macau, Bimini, Monte-Carlo!🎰🎰Travel Ruby hits the globe!!!
You should have taken that blueberry pie and put the filling on top of the cheesecake !!

any mexican breakfast options? beans, chorizo, tortilla, tamales.....
Very nice. I think the "yam" was likely a "sweet potato" . Most yams in the USA are pretty orange, but there are gourmet ones that may be white.
It reminds me of the hotel buffet scene in Mr. Bean in Room 426.
Your emerald green nails are the winners of this weeks challenge. Shantay, they stay.
I was in Vegas last week. Wish I knew about this then.
As always Ruby great commentary
I would try it
The omelette looks delicious just the way we like it with everything! Always get the omelette

Try the prime rib at the steak/bar restaurant there.. Amazing. Get the peppers its on the appetizer menu but get it with dinner.
Ruby, enjoy your reviews. However, when a reviewer complains about a food needing salt and pepper why not add those seasonings then retry? Underseasoned is soooo much preferred to over seasoned as salt n pepper and others can be added.
