This feels like absurdly expensive Dim Sum. My Asian immigrant mother always told me, Chinese food was never meant to be expensive. Food was designed to be “affordable.”
@ I’ve been to Vegas many times especially when it wasn’t an investment of a vacation as it is now. Whether it was the Wynn, the Bellagio (when it was new), the Rio (RIP) at its height…or the Hotel at Mandalay Bay (pre-mass shooter) buffets are still just buffets. Still slightly better than Crystal Palace at Disneyworld. You get there a few hours after the food drops, the drop off in quality in taste is noticeable. Buffets even in 2024 shouldn’t be more than $50. You can still get quality and quantity Chinese food in NYC for faaaaaaar less than $120 whether it’s in downtown Manhattan, Flushing, or Brooklyn. It’s not a “maybe” it’s Guaranteed as the safest bet at the table. Happy holidays everyone.
You should try off Stip and "locals" casinos. There are still good values in Las Vegas (more than just the Strip) for people who are willing to take the effort.
More and more Vegas is making it clear they are catering to only the upper class. I am far from broke, in fact, I am quite comfortable. But $300 for lunch? Give me a break.
This is a pretty simple one. It’s WELL worth it Under one condition. You can appreciate gigantic king crab, and dry aged prime rib. That alone actually makes this a steal if you have the appetite to go with it…. If not, this isn’t for you. Additionally, at Bellagio, a huge portion of their buffet guests are comp.
You gotta move past everything else to indulge in the crab legs and prime rib-would be too hard for me. But honestly-I will never go to LV anymore because it's now only for the wealthy-used to be fun for anyone-but no more

For all of you who say $120 is too much, a pound of king crab leg will usually cost $55 at Costco, and it goes up to $65/$75/lb at most grocery stores. It's like $25/leg at Costco. You will pay $90/$100 per lb in most restaurants. She had a healthy portion on her plate. Great review! Great buffet.

I would definitely eat there. Each time I see crab legs I am reminded of my oldest brother getting all the meat out and putting it on a separate plate without even once taking a bite then he goes for a salad and mixes the crabmeat into the salad and only then he starts to eat. My late wife and I tried that but we couldn't, we HAD to take a bite of the crab meat.
It might also depend on when they went, weekday off time vs weekend primetime. Yeah, don't go to Bellagio if you can't afford high prices. $120 doesn't sound outrageous for unlimited king crab and the meats.

After spending a week in Vegas, in a non-smoking property, I cooked the majority of meals in the all-suite's location just off the strip. I played $20 on one slot on the strip and won $300. I also discovered a secret on how to get a much lower price on an Uber. I walked one building over to an apartment building, probably 25 yards over, and got the ride for just over 50% less than if I got an Uber at the resort. considering the seafood you get this is a pretty decent value. lobster on any buffet is expensive as hell and they even have the meats there in an asian buffet.
extrêmement cher pour les plats servis... dans ma ville, le plus cher c'est entre 37 € et 40 € soit 42 $ (énormément de fruits de mer)...sinon en France, le plus cher des restaurants à volonté est à 63 € (sans les vins et champagnes)
I equate this with a high tea in a upscale hotel in London, so the cost is not out of line . That being said, I remember the Vegas of the mid-60's when the food and accommodations were reasonable to attract gamblers. These incentives are no longer needed.

As long as people go there ,restaurants/buffets will continue to raise there prices, Vegas is know worldwide as a very expensive city
You had me at "the best prime rib we have had on this channel" Another fabulous review, thanks Team Ruby!
Thanks for the video! Pretty please, where is your sweater from? It’s gorgeous!!
extrêmement cher pour les plats servis... dans ma ville, le plus cher c'est entre 37 € et 40 € soit 42 $ (énormément de fruits de mer)...sinon en France, le plus cher des restaurants à volonté est à 63 € (sans les vins et champagnes)
It’s imperative that I know what blush and highlight you’re wearing you look Devine
My wife will yell at me for the 17.99 buffet at the local place.🥴
In Hawaii, we call the Char Siu bun Manapua. Its sold everywhere!
I equate this with a high tea in a upscale hotel in London, so the cost is not out of line . That being said, I remember the Vegas of the mid-60's when the food and accommodations were reasonable to attract gamblers. These incentives are no longer needed.
OMG! I cannot WAIT to go there!
