They have a whole fleet of ex-Reading open window coaches now, which were repainted red. Those were behind the 2102 this year. And the Reading to Haucks portion is ex-Reading rails where the 2012 once ran in revenue service hauling coal then the original Reading Rambles from 1959-1964. The ex-Reading coaches were part of the late George Hart collection and some of then came from SEPTA in the early 90's, and the others were part of the former Rail Tours in Jim Thorpe since the 60's or early 70's.
Great to see 425 in the shop making good progress with her 1472 day inspection and overhaul. Hope to see future updates. Wouldn't you agree? Great vid!
Yes, and once 425 is completed with her 1472 Day Inspection and Overhaul, she’ll be back under steam again to pull even a lot more special excursions in the future!
Not on the return trips on the Lehigh Line because the train is going downgrade and the steam locomotive isn't working so hard so less smoke and soot. They only asked to close the windows on the northbound legs I saw on videos. Jamie Makin who works for the RBMN RR filmed on board some of the excursions.

Great catches awesome chase and nice video
It would be awesome one day if the R&N can do an excursion from Reading to Tunkhannock in the future for a special occasion!
I saw you got to get a glimpse of 425 at the beginning. Any idea how she’s doing?
Mr iron horse it’s alive
How do you breathe going through those tunnels?
Everyone is told to close the windows before they go in.
