My Alaskan Husky was missing for 5 days in the coldest days a few years back. Other than smelling like a pine tree, she was fine. They sure do know how to take care of themselves.
I feel like that hat was in it's glory when you were riding the trap trail and the ears were flying out behind you. Thanks for showing us around. That looks like a great place to stay, and seems like they really take care of their guests.
Great video! We are so happy to hear they found the 4th dog. The drone footage of the sleds was amazing. What a great place to be stuck! Mark (& Teresa)
lol carharrt for life baby! (that was Eric on the trap line in front of me..bob wasn't out there right then, his channel is under "Bob's Vlogs" on UA-cam. Check it out and tell him I sent ya;)
Its not jelous, but I'm the closest thing to it lol! Im just glad somebody is out in the world living this cool life because I am miserable here in the city. I swear one day I will make it out there before I die!
That lodge was all boarded up when I was the caretaker of a lodge nearby. That place has the best views anywhere to stay on the Denali. Made a lot of runs to the old gold mine.
👍🏻❄️💯🥶🇬🇧🏴 great informative video Timmy to see how people live their and have fun👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤠awesome scenery too stay safe and well my friend Dave in Cornwall ya all🤠🤠yeeeeha!!!
I’m assuming that riding a snowmobile in snow is like riding a dirt bike in a sand wash. Lean back, hit the gas and just guide it rather than steering it. The tracked Jeep is a trip.
I like Polaris hard to believe a 2019 could blow an engine. As far as snowmachines go I would take a ski doo over a Polaris for sure. Have had awesome luck with all my summits. Should get at least 5000 miles before a blown engine
Surfing a Freakin Refrigerator!!! Beaver... gotta get the body trap!!! And Wax em!!! Killer!!! Why to keep it real!!! The hat rocks! Gotta sell those for Bob!! Test Run!!! Peace Time for pow here in Vermont!!! Send It!!!
Really enjoy your videos. You are one of the only true people on utube I've seen in a long time. Thanks for the entertainment and keep them coming and I'll keep watching. Thanks again. A loyal fan 😊
Love that head gear your wearing! What is that called need me one lol. Glad things are looking up. I wished I live close to the snow powder like that, looks fun
right?! It's a martin hat hand made and trapped by Bob of Alpine Creek Lodge. Hit bob up (comment on his video on Bob's Vlogs on UA-cam) and tell him Timmy sent ya, maybe he can get you a hat!
In Europe these traps are forbidden. Hunting over here is a honour code kinda thing. Your fit enough to shoot to kill, no slow death traps. There's high penalties on breaking this code, you might even get your hunting license taken from you.
Bob is living the trapping of my childhood. Except he’s an adult, in Alaska, with a snow machine, and a UA-cam channel. Okay, so it’s nothing like my childhood... Damn...
I'm SO glad someone else said this and in such a sensitive way! I'd just spent half an hour deliberating over whether or not to mention it! I should've realised that Timmie wouldn't be all precious about it. x
Nice hat! Looks super warm and very appropriate for Alaska level cold. All floppy over the ear hats look a big goofy but I do like this hat as it has character. I have a couple of them but not near the quality of yours. Does Bob sell his hats online?
Thanks for sharing video snowmobiles sure are cool to ride. Could use one here this year we've had a lot of snow. But still not like what you guys have.
I have State Farm been the best insurance the agent treats me like family beautiful veiws my 1976 F-150 4x4 with a 18" lift for liability insurance is only $25 a month God bless be safe ✝️🇺🇸

I understand that people have to make money, however I have come across animals in these traps and it is not pretty. I don't believe in them personally.
@@TruckHouseLife now your sled on the other hand....it needs a rebuild. Interested to find out what caused it. Might be good information to share with viewers. Unless you ran it out of oil, then you can keep that info to yourself 🤣
Not yet! Would love to, but covid stopped all live music in 2020. If you look in some of my UA-cam videos from early 2020 and earlier you'll find shoot dangs videos;)
Hiiii from CT!!!! So glad the dog was found! What ever happened to your snow mobile? And, would you ever design a bigger truck house? LOVE the content!! Keep em coming!!
I'm just getting into your videos and loving them, but the concept of trapping is unpleasant and unnecessary to say the least. It's 2020's America and we're sophisticated enough to have snow machines and Go Pros, yet we still need to put animals through a horrible protracted death so that we can wear their fur? It doesn't need to be this way.
I feel like all these newer snowmobiles are either completely fine or a blown engine it seems like they're trying to pull too much power out of these engines nowadays pushing them to the edge so they're always on the edge of blowing up it's crazy how a brand new slide can just losing engine like that and it's becoming more and more common all the time
Glad the dog was found . I asked my wife what she thinks of your hat. She said you look like Chewebacca but I stood up for you and said no he looks like " Barf from Spaceballs" the movie LOL and just messin wit ya. Great scenery out there on them sleds.
Boiling new traps removes oils from manufacturing. The rust is almost like a lizard shedding its skin. All of the scent comes off with it. Then they’re reconditioned to make them brand new again, scent free.
Love your videos man. You honestly inspired me to get out of the Bay Area and move up to Tahoe. Went from workin in an electrical union feeling like a robot, to workin at the Sierra Tahoe ski lift. Absolutely love the lifestyle so far, doesn’t pay much, but I’m young and it’s great experience. Hopefully I get to the point where I can get a truck and a trailer and get out there a bit more! Anyways, keep on keepin on man! Love the content.
Do it man! There's a group of Tahoe boys that migrate up to Alaska every March & April (road trip) to shred the mountains, look up the Tailgate Alaska Festival when you get a chance;)
Leg hold traps are horrible things - particularly when you leave them out for weeks and don't bother to check them.
Yeah I have mixed feelings about it, it's a bitter sweet way of life out there.
The dog was found. He had quite a tale to tell his pals!
Yup!
I can think of worse places to be stuck! Cool people and cool setting!
Exactly!
Happy the dog was found. You should have asked for Jake at State Farm. Very funny asking for a helicopter tow. LOL.
Me too, next time haha

Most of us in the lower 48 not trapping friendly, trapping dogs? most of the last few videos have been about looking for a lost dog?
yup, the first Alpine Creek video shows what happened and how it got started;)
The lodge is in such a beautiful and remote location, I can't understand why they would use single use cups, plates and plastic cutlery?
They burn it there, they have to make their own electricity and it uses a lot of energy/heat to heat up water to clean dishes.
