To really understand what was happening in the heart and soul of saltwater fly fishing, we sent our senior rod designers to the birthplace of the discipline in the Florida Keys. Sort out your warranty please, $200 and 6 months wait for a repair/replacement is a frickin' hopeless joke regardless of how good your rods are. I will not be buying another Sage until you sort this cluster Fk out.

I have only tried the regular R8 and I wonder why you have left the fast action ? The R8 is like a pool noodle in the hand. My goto rod is the faster ones like igniter and the older TCR and TCX.
And of course the cost of a rod on the market today is crazy, 2 rods is equivalent in price to a older car. My latest SAGE rod is the SALT HD, thats a beast on the flats for GT and other extreme species but sadly it will be the last too, cant afford those premium rods anymore.
Great commercial but a rod can’t do anything. It’s the person skills 🤔
