I actually bought this exact scanner awhile ago when my Camaro Popped a CEL and was misfiring and I just expecting it to give me a code but I surprised by what it's capabilities actually are so now it stays in my Camaro

Depends on the vehicle, but it does on the 2 GM vehicles I've tried it on.

Since it's generic OBD2, it should work fine for all the standard OBD2 Data Set. I'm sure it wouldn't provide any info on the HPOP, Injection control, etc.
