I've been driving my 97 2.7 with 159 horsepower. So far so good...fun to drive. Nice having the new 4runner per it's a lot nicer!! Lol. Timmy C Arizona
We are going to get it looking and running as best as possible and enjoy it as a weekend warrior now and again. Who knows, we may sell it after we finish and go for a 3rd Gen build 😯
Greag looking machine, if you dont mind me asking what did you pay for it? I have the exact one but with pretty bad undercarriage rust and am considering hunting down a new one instead.
Thank you! I would have a hard time doing that since my background is in Auto Body. I worked in high end shops where perfection was expected and I cringe when I see a subpar paint job or wavy panels. I know I shouldn't have those expectations for a vehicle like this, but I'm having a hard time shaking that mindset.
2nd gen is the best gen!!
I love their body lines and stance
Nice! You're going to inspire my youngest. He's been looking for one of these for a while. Good luck with this, Anthony!
Thank you sir! They are very cool. We might finish this one up and sell it and build a 3rd Gen next, my favorite next to the 5th Gen.
Looking forward to this refresh!
Thanks!

I love the 3rd Gens!
This 4Runner is very cool. I own 1993 model of the same car. I plan to replace it with the same wheel.😍
@@HILUXSURF_FAMILY_YUMA Thanks. I love the body style on these 2nd gens
Can't wait for this one.
Thanks. It will be fun
That looks like a very clean foundation you're starting with.
Yeah, looks like mainly cosmetic stuff. We'll see as we get deeper in
I like your hat! Beautiful 4Runner I got exact same mine is just 22re.
@@stangotisan4293 Thank you. I like the 22RE engine more
I literally just bought this exact one color and all except it’s a 94. Need to replace a front fender hopefully I can match the paint. 25k miles on it
@@landonhardt7180 Original miles? That's insane. You will most likely need to blend into the hood and door. Panel matching is very difficult
Wow, very nice! 😁👍
Thanks. Wait till I get it on the lift and film the underside. It's crazy clean
That paint on the hood held up a lot better than my 2011 Tacoma. 🤣
The paint quality is actually quite nice on this guy.
Very nice!
Thank you
Looks good! What's the game plan with it?

Thanks. $7,300. Check out my last video. I just got finished with the body work and am getting ready to paint it.
Take it to maco for a 400 dollar paint don't go too crazy on astetics. Congratulations on your new toy super cool man

@@AZOverland2017 Can't hate on that, I'm excited to see your build.
Hoping to get some dog hair in there soon!
Sorry, no pups allowed in this one
I’m trying to find one lol
A 2nd Gen?
Please take my money.
