Clever technique and images. From the thumbnail I thought this vid was going to feature a lens ball. Surprised at the quality of the frozen insect after being in the freezer so long. Yes, DIY vids for light modifiers would be appreciated - would not have thought of gluing paper to plastic - would have tried painting plastic first. Take care.
Thank you Paul! I will Upload a new light/diffuser Video soon;) same here, although the hornet does not look fresh anymore its a great way to test out settings or macro adapter/lens. I will move to Another Location soon... Hopefully it will survive the Transport;)
congratulations for the tutorial, really very interesting full of unthinkable tricks and tutorials for everyone ... 2 questions given my bad English, I didn't understand if the water is just water or mixed with sugar to make it more sticky, the Another question is where can I buy the LED spotlight that towards the end of the video can be seen photographing the egg, used with a remote control to use various RGB, thanks! (sorry my bad english)
I always love your photography ideas and concept it's really cool and can you plz tell how to take that kind of images from mobile using macro lens because most of the people don't have a camera so plz tell us in mobile photography , hope you understand
What phone do you have? My smartphone can get very close ( lg thin q gs8) so i can take almost the same images with phone just with lower quality. Otherwise a macro phone clip might help to get higher magnification. I have one but the quality is very low... So its hard for me to recommend one
it’s very hard to achieve those sort of images with a mobile. they are more suited to a DSLR camera because you can attach an external flash and adjust the aperture

Conflicted by the obvious use of clickbait. Thumbnail: "No macro lens needed!" Actual video: "Here's the macro lens I used!" (The fact that it's a lens attachment doesn't change the fact that it's a macro lens, you know)

Beautiful shot with the Red Flower and blue seed pod. Can I ask what type of plant that seed is from. It seems to hold the water well.
Thank you! Sorry but I am not sure because this was some kind of weed/pest plant

I cannot get it in focus like that. How'd you get that so Sharp? Like how?
What setup are you using? Do you focus manually?
@@anotherperspective3076 I use a reversal ring on my canon 1200D with the kit lens, 18-55mm.
Awesome video

Hello
I'm from India.
I am not able to recognize the equipment which you used to mount on camera body.
Please tell that name
Did the Link work? It is also in the Video description
It's a water or a glucose?
Its simple, pure water ;)
@@anotherperspective3076 but how it can hold I was always advised glucose ...
@@harley21production Well I hove not tried yet, because water did its job;) I will give that a try
