Sorry to point it out that this gentle man is talking wrong about 3% people having insurance. LIC itself has more than 25 Cr policy holder

I feel the reason claims are there is to cushion the blow for the company. If that money is tied up in an investment then they'll have to liquidate in order to pay. Not very customer friendly
