It bothers me so much that this Great Game still isn't on NSO. and yet, Wario Land 3 is in. Wario Land 1 is way better than 3 imo. If only my WL1 Cartridge still saved. oh well. Might be easier to try to replace the battery than wait forever for it to come to NSO at this point.
Given there's data for an unused scene with Bobo sitting down in what looks to be a treetop area, we get the feeling the original plan for Parsley Woods was to have him at the top of the Fork Tree, and that as the final level for the area. Presumably that got changed when they realised Bobo would work better in the previous world instead.

@@edfreak9001 it's a bug I discovered a while ago. They do some floating point conversions, and if the random value was extremely large, the result can have a fraction like .99999999 that gets rounded up. So you can call for a number between 0 and 5, but get 6.
Most times, it's harmless, because it's just going to determine the position of a particle or something. But if the stars align just right, it can cause out-of-bounds array indexing.
