Last March saw your video for the Elgato Wave 3 and the best decision I've bought for the microphone. The Wavelink software really helps in my stream. I'm planning to buy goxlr good thing I saw your video and I save a lot of money on it.
I'll never buy Elgato again. I always have problems with their software. I've had the wave 3 the software looks great but I had problems with OBS with it. I even bought their capture card HD60 + it couldn't even find my USB 3.2 ports. I'm done with them. Only thing left I have off theirs is the stream deck.

At the moment I'm using my headphone mic (EDIFIER G4 TE) which serves me well enough for my needs. Just wondering though: from a sound perspective once the software kicks in, the Rode seems pretty on par with the Elgato. The Rode software in combination with something like voicemeter banana (which I use to split my music so I can keep it out of the VOD audio track in OBS) won't that close the gap in functionality when comparing to the Elgato software? I might be wrong, as I haven't done too much fooling around with audio yet so far.
Yes you can accomplish almost the same thing. It’s more complicated with voicemeeter but you can do the same things. Keep in mind that if you install voicemeeter potato, that gives you more virtual devices that act like virtual cable, for free
I love how this video is a review but at the same time it looks like a blog, it makes me feel closer to you! my microphone is a very cheap one and I love it. I think i would choose Elgato the sound from the beginning in my opinion was the one that stood out the most for its clarity. Annnd hat's my humble opinion. which one do you think is the best gate for wave mic? is it clip guard within the wave link software or the noise gate function in OBS? im not sure if i want to turn off clip guard and use OBS' noise gate. or turn off noise gate in OBS and use clip guard. or just use both (but will it introduce a conflict between noise gates?) BTW. i love how you dive in into the details in each of your videos. love your complete guide to wave link software!
Dope video, and I agree the mini siren sounds basically the same, I speak daily to someone uses it. I am using a Blue Ice Snowball haha, my first mic but I really want to get an Elgato Wave mic, I think it's really impressive and perfect.

Ah perfect! Then it'll make for a good video! my first mic also was a blue snowball :) The wave mic is definitely worth it for the software man.
I stream online classes that need good quality sound and 2 local mics. Can the wave link software completely replace voicemeeter banana?

I've tested the rode psa-1, that works great. I'm not familiar with other budget versions but there are a lot of them on amazon
