- Here's every battle theme from the Indigo Disk DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet!
(Apologies for the late upload; originally this was uploaded the day after Indigo Disk's release, however it was quickly removed due to containing the then unreleased battle theme for Pecharunt. Now that Pecharunt is officially available, I am reuploading this compilation).

Silvuddy's Notes:
- Wild/Tera Pokémon (Blueberry Academy)
Unova baby! One of the best Wild Themes finally gets an interesting remix. While not a straight up remaster, more in line with how PLA arranged the original Sinnoh Wild theme, this remix is still very cool and a great callback to a game over 10 years old, AND we get two versions of it!
- Pokémon Trainer (Blueberry Academy)
And of course, can't have the Unova Wild Theme without the accompanying Trainer Theme. Another one of the best of its kind, this remix is also well deserved. This arrangement seems to be primarily based on the Subway Trainer Theme, as it includes the extra details heard in that version.
- BB League Elite Four
A nice addition to the OST, though I don't think it's anything to write home about. Certainly not the best Elite Four music, and I kind of wish it was a remix of Generation 5's iconic Elite Four Theme, but hey new stuff is always great, and I appreciate the fun time signature toying they've been doing with E4 themes lately, including here.
- BB League Champion Kieran
A fun, energetic remix of Kieran's theme and another addition to both the climactic Rival Theme archetype as well as another Champion theme. Personally I prefer his final theme from the Teal Mask, but this is still great! It sounds like a rhythm game artcore track with the violin and guitar, haha.
- Kieran & Terapagos
This theme is pretty cool with the instrumentation; it sounds super crystalline, and I love the slapped bass underscoring everything. Very upbeat and interesting!
- Terapagos
A fun development of both the prior theme and the Area Zero and Tera Raid themes. I wonder if Toby Fox was responsible for this particular arrangement since he created all the motifs. There's also some cool taglines that play during the mid-battle cutscenes; I included those at the end here.
- Pecharunt
As of right now this theme is unreleased, but this easily eclipses the original Loyal Three battle theme for me, which as already the best theme in the last DLC. EDM in Pokémon will always be appreciated by me haha, and this combines electronica with very cool orchestral instrumentaiton..

I’m aware of the missing track for battling, the possessed trainers but I’ve excluded that track for 2 reasons: A, I already had made the video on Indigo Disk’s release in December and I don’t have my video editing software available at this time; B, As I understand it, that theme technically is an overworld theme that bleeds into battles, so I felt that it was okay to omit this track. While others do fit that description, this is a very minor track in comparison and is also used in non-battle scenarios separately.
Is it just me or does this music give me extreme Gen 5 vibes
Nah I don’t feel that
I can feel the Gen 5 vibes because of the Wild Battle, Tera Battle and Trainer Battle themes in this DLC.
The Wild and Trainer themes are literally remixes from the Black & White originals...
Nah
Pokemon and Sonic have this in common where the mainline releases range from just bad to mediocre to barely acceptable with modern standards... but the music? ALWAYS goes hard.
nah the games are mid at worst, not really bad

Fun fact Gen 9 is the first generation where all of the Legendary/Mythical Pokemon a battle theme unique to themselves or their group
Technically true, though honestly I consider Paradox Pokemon comparable to Ultra Beasts, which I consider to be comparable to Legendaries. So while officially they aren’t Legendary Pokemon, UBs and therefore (by proxy) Paradoxes could be considered to be on the same echelon as Legendaries and Mythicals
@@SilvuddyPkmnMusic yeah did mean it on a technical level, because I do consider the paradox versions of the Legendary Beasts and the Swords of Justice to be Legendaries even if they technically aren’t.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet may not be very visually appealing, but the music NEVER misses
Silvuddy always coming in clutch. Thanks for the video, and thanks to the Pokemon company for always making fantastic games!!
sorry to be that guy (I know you technically made this before the pecharunt event was released so you wouldn't have known) but there is a battle theme missing. it's the track for when you fight trainers possessed by Pecharunt
I’m aware of that one but I’ve excluded that track for 2 reasons: A, like you said I already had made the video and I don’t have my video editing software available at this time; B, As I understand it, that theme technically is an overworld theme that bleeds into battles, so I felt that it was okay to omit
@@SilvuddyPkmnMusic understandable
@@SilvuddyPkmnMusicWally's theme was also an overworld theme (it is no longer played in rematches), it only became a battle theme in Sun and Moon.
@@Gorgidas-o1e Fair point, as well as the Macro Cosmos “battle theme,” however the difference here is that those were used exclusively going into a battle, while this theme as I recall is also used in situations where a battle is not imminent
A very marginal difference, and if I had made this video yesterday I might have included it, however the combination of these factors discouraged me from remaking the compilation just for the one minor track
4:53 Unova Jumpscare-
I love the 5 gen remixes they did, incorporating key musical distinctives from gen 9
Is the theme of trainers corrupted by Pecharunt missing ?
