    What a fun car that beetle will be, it's going to go like a rocket with that combo. You've made me all excited to see how this beast goes. I'm thinking wheelies at any speed, I bought a Tamiya Avante Aero, never used for $170 ,it's not a real Avante but just couldn't resist. Already looking for hop up parts and a brushless combo. They just look so nice I had to get it. Wife bought a used Arrma Typon for $300 ,guy said the diff is going but it's been changed and has a new one with it. That was a bargain to, can't wait for the build on this beetle. Great video again mate.

    • @RCHobbyShed
      @RCHobbyShed  4 роки тому

      Yeah it should be a handful. The Avante Aero will be a pretty reliable buggy, great price too. That Typon has to be the bargain of the century! Hoping to have the build video out by tomorrow or the day after, planning a short run in the driveway for the build video too. Then hit the BMX track when it stops raining. 👍

    Very nice man, a few of the guys run that ESC here at my local track, quite reliable. The yeah racing fan looks like the tornado aluminum fan which is noisy but a great fan so if it sounds like a vacuum cleaner don't panic lol. Get ready for that blister beetle to scoot though a 10.5T is next to a mod motor so its going to have punch so you may have to turn it down a bit till you know how durable it is. look forward to more!

    10bl120 has been a good buy, I put one in a 2wd T6.2 for my bonus kid and it was great all season... have one new in the box waiting for a need/use... I have seen quite a few running in 2wd and 4wd mod racing here... for $45-55US they're a decent option. I will likely buy another , but also have my eye on the JuStock 17.5/13.5/10.5 combos from HW for kits that don't need the 6.5-8.5t we use in mod racing.... I hope to put together a retro style buggy of some sort soon... and thinking I may use an old Novak 10.5 I have and the 10bl120.

    Looks like no connectors are included. Looks like you will need connectors for both the battery and the motor. I had to buy separate connectors for my Tekin motor and ESC too. Of course you need to do some soldering. I bought a Jig and was able to solder everything very easily.

    What is the difference between the ezrun and quickrun?

    • @RCHobbyShed
      @RCHobbyShed  2 роки тому +1

      Basically the Quicrun has less features and a lower price. From top to bottom of the Hobbywing range it goes Xerun (for professional drivers), Ezrun (for advanced drivers), Quikrun (for RTR Upgrade). I'm not really sure of the difference in features, so it's best to check the specs of each to find which one best suits your needs. 👍
