@@TheBlackbirdii PS5 doesn't use ray traced reflections. Also those transparency reflections on the glass are there in both versions, they're just less visible because they're more physically accurate. Plus the mirror looks better since it's higher resolution too
more crip aliasing and lack of detail, 20~30fps 720p with a lot of aliasing and shimmering, try play that on a modern big 4k tv, not watching a tiny screen on youtube that make the difference less visible. and why u want a colorful cartoonish look in a Post-apocalyptic game.
@Bulletproof_Van The reason for this is because of it's exceptional for the time CPU but the architecture being so complicated it was hard to program for and this is Sony's fault, they designed it this way as they expected to be a clear market leader and thus this would force 3rd party companies to make games exclusive to their platform, it didn't go that way. The Xbox 360 was very developer friendly and far more closer to PC's. Not only that the power difference is not as much as people make out, the systems were very similar overall. The Xbox 360 had a better GPU, Unified ram which meant games like Skyrim for example could use more ram on the Xbox 360 than the fixed 256mb on the PS3 as both systems had 512mb of ram but Xbox 360 could use as much ram as needed for the game the ps3 split it and restricted this to 256mb for games. A 10mb buffer also allowed free extra effects such as texture filtering tech that ps3 would have to allocate more resources to achieve the same effect. On the PS3 side if used properly you could even out the lack of GPU power by utilizing the cell processor to do more traditionally gpu tasks and alleviate the load off of the gpu somewhat but of course this isn't easy to do and usually only achieved by 1st party developers. Overall however any game that needed a little more resources in the ram department would always turn out better on an Xbox 360 regardless of how well that developer could utilize the cpu power of the machine. GPU heavy games would require heavy optimization on a ps3 which is very unlikely as well.
Naughty Dog. What a company. They did a crappy game on the 3do Way of the Warrior that was reviled. Developed Crash Bandicoot beloved in the PS1 era. The Jak and Daxter series that held it's own in the PS2 era. The Critically acclaimed Uncharted Games in the PS3 era with 4 and Lost Legacy on the PS4. Crash Bandicoot is playable in Uncharted 4. Anyways I found the sound design especially the voice acting in this game incredible.

Nah it's just talented developers. Naughty Dog are technical wizards and brought out the best in every single console they've worked on for visuals except for PS5. They just now are getting a dedicated PS5 title so late into the generation

A diferença do PS5 é brutal, faz a versão de PS3 que parecia tão realista na épooca parecer meio cartoonesca hoje em dia. porém a maior diferença vc não vai ver nessas telinhas pequenas pq favorece muito a resolução baixa do ps3. além dos controles q so jogando pra sentir. ps5 tu pode jogar a 60fps contra os 20~30fps do ps3.

Quite a lot actually. Improvements of the PS5 version: higher poly count, higher resolution, 60 fps instead of 30 with drops, sharper textures, advanced lighting, higher res dynamic shadows, better volumetrics, better facial animations.
Incrivelmente eu prefiro alguns efeitos do PS3 do que do PS5 , em algumas cenas as imagens na nova geração são muito escuras e as paletas de cores foram mal utilizados, uma vergonha fazerem remaster, reemaster,reeeeemaster.
I’m not going to lie, I’m still impressed at how the PS3 generated graphics when the SPEs were taken full advantage of.

Ps3 graphics are more crisp, colorful and show more detail. And models are more interesting, despite being less realistic.
I already saw it on Uncharted. graphics on PS4 looked so flat.

It obviously looks better on PS5 because of its technology... But just look at the PS3 version! This machine could really do wonders! 💙
