Why am I the only one loving this palette? 🤣 The color story is unique and nice! I love the fact it's oranges and pinks combined with earthy metal toned shades!

I'm not overly a fan of ABH but this has definitely caught my eye! I really love the grunge vibe and it's a great antithesis of all of the million rose palettes we have seen from everyone the last few years!

I love the grungy but pretty vibes of this. And I love the vintage book style packaging. I feel like vintage metals would have been a more suitable name.
You know these real rose arrangements that will last for about a year? Some of them also come with metallic overspray. I think that palet is it.
Actually, this totally *DOES* give me dying roses, stems and whatnot vibes, too! And, I am here for it. That poster who said that had me cackling up a storm when you read it 🤣

No! I love your swatches! They are the closest to how the shadows will behave on the eyes.
It actually look to me like 2 six pans joined together, one more rosy, one more reddish-brown.
Oh, I see the 2 six pans now.🤓 So cool! And yes, light swatches, maybe also just swatches with a brush on a primed skin, because we are not gonna apply the shadows with mighty fingers, poking our eyeballs out!?
I actually love the "muddiness", or grunginess of these colours. 😂

Yes! Please don’t change this! I guess it’s more visually pleasing when creators use a template and the swatches are all uniform, but LIVE swatches, so you can see how the formulas moves and spreads is vital.
I wasn’t planning on picking this up but after those swatches…it looks great gorgeous! I’m loving the grunge thing because I don’t really have anything like that in my collections. And, let’s be real, this is dialed down / accessible grunge that should appeal to a wide range of folks.
I like slightly heavier swatches to be able to see the colors. Plus I like to see how they slide across the skin. Like how evenly the pigment distributes. I don't want anyone to dig their finger into the pan or press really hard when swatching just enough to be able to see. I hope that made sense lol

Your left eye look is the best advertisement for brown eyes with this palette! Totally looks like the fall leaves 🍁! Completely what I have been looking for since I have been attempting to venture out of my mauve and brown cycle! Antique gold and olive green seem to be my colors this season!🍂

Hey Morgan, I wasn’t going to pick up this palette. But now I’m thinking about getting it. It is more of a darker palette & it’s not really something I usually use. But that’s one of the reasons I want to get it. I have so many palettes and a lot of them you can create the same looks with. But this palette would be different. This is why I watch reviews before I purchase because just looking at this palette I thought meh then you switched it and I thought oh wow that's beautiful but I'm definitely thinking about getting this one.
I'm convinced the muddiness is partly due to the contrast of the silver packaging around the shades

I tried it out when I went to Sephora today, and they swatched just as beautifully as they did here. I will say, as my personal policy, swatch it for yourself before buying.
Just for that gold bronze color it is totally worth it.

I love a nice dark and smoky palette. I can’t wait to try it now. It looks right up my alley (plus I love coppers as it makes my green eyes pop, I love it). So…I grabbed both this palette and the Nouveau palette (I’ve been waiting to get these for a sale) on the ABH site and it was 2 palettes for $65. Great deal plus I grabbed a mini of the eyeshadow primer which got me up over $75 and it gave me a further percentage off (I think 15?) Not bad! I’m glad I waited for this deal. They ended up at about half the price!

Well... this is definitely my style 👌I have Norvina and Riviera and now I put this palette on my table at work, as it arrived half an hour ago💖I love the idea of a dying rose. The colours as I watch them now look very much like dried roses from our garden. We have a pretty bunch of them as a decoration in a flat. Fantastic palette, I was blown away from the first look at it.

It has been forever since my inner Gollum looked at a palette and screaamed "My Precious" back to me. I absolutely love it. Some shades reminds me of UD Naked Heat, the worst palette I ever bought.
I collect palettess that I like despite being unable to use most of them because I have blepharitis and most o them cause flare ups.

Ok I hated this palette on the pictures they posted of it on their instagram bc it looked soooo dark and too dark for me but in this video you showed of it in natural lighting it looks gorgeous!! I really like it! Wayyyy better than the Nouveau palette. I just bought their mini Glam To Go palette and I’m absolutely loving it- it’s so freaking cute with how small it is you could throw in your purse and it would be so easy to travel with. I love the shades in it too, and I know exactly what you mean by the metallic/shimmer shades are just sooo buttery they almost feel like cream shadows which is so true. And the pigmentation is of course amazing with their shadows that’s a given and with the mini glam to go the pigmentation of the mattes and shimmers is out of this world I can’t stop using it! And it’s only $29 for 6 shades… I think it was definitely worth it.

I feel like this is a grungy updated version of modern renassaince, and I really like it. It's on my wishlist for now, we'll see what the future holds... Lol 😅🤭
These are colors for medium to deeper complexions or for the summer when you get a tan; they would look GREAT! These are my colors, I use intense eyeshadows.

I feel like ABH shadows HAVE to be packed on and then blended so you’ll ALWAYS get some type of fall out… Just FYI for newbies! Do your eyeshadow first not last.
I work at ulta and saw it at work the other day and it’s so much prettier in person
I’m not into high end makeup because of the price tag I’m much more a drugstore makeup girl but the formula of this and the fact that they work as a one and done eyeshadow look us really making me want to buy it, the pallete is really beautiful
I used to be a drugstore girl. But once you go high end you won't go back. If you're looking to step up your makeup game high end is the best.
When this came out I immediately thought of the Makeup by Mario palette, even the inspiration is the same: grunge and '90s models :)
I don't have particularly sensitive eyes but I do react slightly to the pigments. I've also found that they stained my eyes like crazy especially the red or pink shades. Kinda learned the hard way with colorpop
I was in my local Sephora yesterday and they had a space for it but it was still in the back and they said that they couldn't put it out until tomorrow. This is one I'm going to have to see in person before taking the plunge. I am normally fair in the winter and medium in the summer. I noticed that it is a more mid toned palette with only 1 light shimmer so I will probably pass unless I swatch it in store and fall in love. Even then I would probably wait until it's on sale. I am very glad that this palette will work extremely well for my friends who have deeper complexions.
I think that I need 😉 this pallet! The Nouveau was far too light for my liking. Btw, I like your swathes, they are realistic to what the shades are going to look on the eyes. 💕
Agree, I wasn't blown away by the Nouveau palette unfortunately either, the quality was great, that's why I bought it, but the colours just didn't do anything for me, I hardly ever reach for it, such a waste of money... that's why I was hesitant to give this one a go. But I saw it today in a store, swatched it, and absolutely loved the shades, perfect for fall, and they are so smooth and pigmented too, gorgeous. I checked the new ND My Dream palette while I was there, and this one won and went home with me, I just liked it way better.

Your's was the review on this palette I've been waiting for. Thank you as well for the comparisons, especially to the Carly Bybel palette. I didn't pick up the Nouveau palette because I wasn't super drawn to the colors, and while I prefer the colors in this palette, it's just too deep all throughout for me to use very much. I love the CB palette which you showed is much lighter in comparison, so I feel much better about my decision to skip this one. I hate not picking up a holiday limited edition palette, but I'd rather spend $55 on something that will get lots of use. PS it was because of your awesome review of the Melt Gemini II that I was able to hold off getting that one too, so thank you!!

I knew this pallet was going to be one of my favorites You can also downplay it & make natural day looks & if you have the makeup by Mario all brown mattes you can do so many lookS combining the two … but your right about that pallet definitely needed a black Matt for sure. Can’t believe ppl complained about the color story? If it was more rosey it would be too similar to other ABH palettes and not special imo. I love the color story but unfortunately too warm gold and bronzy tones make my cool complexion look washed out 😔 So I went for the Nouveau bc I think it would be more versatile for me
