There’s a good movie here hiding underneath the bad stuff. A movie about the importance of family. And mister freeze is the perfect villain for that story. If they had cut bane, poison ivy, and some of the more silly moments out this movie could’ve been one of the best batman movies.

On the Bruce Wayne half, Clooney is almost perfect. We can feel his aura and presence as billionaire playboy and suave gentleman. I rate him no 1 as the best live action Bruce Wayne. It was as Batman half where he failed.

DC needs to be wiser about choosing their creators, so their actors don't suffer as a result. The sad thing is that they tend to blame the actors for the failures of the director, so if a movie doesn't do well, then the actors and actresses can suffer as a consequence. People aren't hitting them up to be in their films, because they don't want to lose money too.

I can really see why I liked this movie as a kid. It’s a really well made kids film and has just the right amount of touch of Adam west’s Batman. It was disappointing to learn that all the man children hated this film.
I think Batman Forever pulled off the camp vibe a bit better

Yeah, Batman & Robin pretty much killed her career. She had starred in a bunch of bombs even before that, but B&R was the finishing blow that ended her stardom. She's still working, but she hasn't been a big name in Hollywood since then.
I had a dream of seeing this scene at Warner Village on 1997, and when this scene played, I loved Alicia's hair.

@@SuperTed19021 His career didn't unravel, he chose to leave cinema. At 26 he decided he wanted a family, so he married, had kids and chose to work for television because it allowed him to be home to his family every evening. To me, that shows that he is a much better man than any other Hollywood actor.
