- Destiny 2: Season of the Witch - Eris Morns Explains The Sword Logic & Xivu Arath Cutscene
Eris Morn explains the Sword Logic and how she uses it to enact her will on our enemies and how it will be used to overtake Xivu Arath. We have earned our right to exist as we have vanquished Crota, Oryx, and Savathun. We have adhered to the design of the Sword Logic and now Eris will use it to ascend and conquer Xivu Arath, the God of War.

Wouldn't be surprised if Xivu tries to kill eris out of vengeance for her sibling(s) and eris just pulls an uno reverse card out of her back pocket given how things are going
I feel like we’ve been doing the sword logic ever since the beginning
no, we have not, when we killed Oryx and did not take his throne, we defied Sword Logic, it was a far greater sin than actually killing him.
@@keithfilibeck2390 Correct, the guardians use what is called Bomb logic, not sword logic
@@keithfilibeck2390 think about it Their logic is basically everything needs to prove it’s right to exist. We’ve been doing that since the beginning so we been proving our right to exist
@@jordanlovenixon1408 I mean I don't know if cheating death (through resurrection) multiple times over the years means we've deserved the right to exist.....
@@jacobharris7431 sword logic was always the strongest dictates everything technically hive don't follow logic and taken to because they don't even obey us we even slay a worm god already lol
we really are the acolyte of eris morn this season huh?
all we can be, at best, is a weapon, using the Light to come back to life is hereticle to the Sword Logic (throne World return doesn't count the same) as it is literally coming back instantly after being defeated and giving nothing to the victor.
Ironically in my case.
Damn this actually kinda reminded me of halo for some reason..the battlefield scenes, it just feels so suitably dark, as it should be!
I still don't understand how Hive magic works. If it was a manifestation of darkness, I'd understand, but that doesn't seem to be the case. It's probably connected to what Ahsa said in Witness cutscene. Darkness is a power that ca be shaped by the mind. And the Hives uses both their knowledge of the Darkness and the worms' anthem anatheme.
Our magic is confusing, NGL.
It’s interpretation. They wield darkness as a sort of black magic and put their anger and pain into it. We use things like Stasis which require control and Stand which is well releasing control. The elements of the light is basically things in the universe like heat, motion, and gravity.
I like how they bought back the dreadnaught music in that area
Here's the thing Eris.. once you use the Sword Logic to attain power, the only path is continuing, or Death, Savathun had to literally die to escape it, you however, cannot come back if you do.
So they say
Actually 🤓 , Savathun died because she took her worm off of her.
Eris can use the sword logic and change back and forth from her hive god form and human one like right now because she has no need of a worm. Yes, she now thrives through the Hive’s logic, but because she has not taken in a worm to feed from her, her life is not at risk.
Eris practically found a better free exp/afk farm exploit.
what emote was that?
If you all want me on your side and not with The Witness, just buy me a beer and quesadilla from Bar Louie.
What is the point of this? I hope its a lead up to a Xivu DLC.
Why in gods name would they allow Eris to return to her normal form, there's no threat now
i was caught off guard when i went to talk to her for week 2. i was pretty excited to talk to her while transformed
It makes no sense, they immediately erased any sense of permeance @@TheZanyWarlock
@ForgeCrow imo the seasonal activities and story are pretty good. that, however, was a letdown
They don't _want_ her to be a threat
They've said multiple times over the course of the season "Eris will be fine. Eris is saying she'll be fine, she knows what she's doing"
But people keep speculating "Omg dark future she's going to become evil!" even though she _won't_
