Awesome video mate. A 340 Sundancer I’m about to buy has white chalky stuff coming off it when I run my hand on it. Looks like it’ll need a wet sand. Cheers 👍🏻
Look, if you have to do more than 1-2 rounds of wool pad and compound, it’s time to wet sand or it’s very unlikely you’ll get it all out with the buffer. Oxidation is white (obviously haha) and another sign is rubbing your hand across the surface to see if any oxidation comes off onto your hand. That’s the best way I can explain it without showing.
Yes, the compounds and polishes are good for any gelcoat surfaces. Hyper Hold Sealant is more versatile and can be applied to any surface for protection (gelcoat, clear-coat, aluminum, etc)
Would love to see that wet sanding video!
It will come when I have the opportunity again!
Just bought a 92 Stratos bad oxides don't know if it was ever done before and I have no experience with it. Torn on what to do. C.K.

Yes it sure sounds like it!
Thanks for watching!
hey brother. at what point would you NOT buff with wool pad/compound and just start with wet sanding?

@@topdockpro thanks brother. I've been trying to confirm so I would not have to buy different products for RVs.
