Thanks for all the Videos! Question, What Prep Product do you recommend for a Factory Direct Boat before applying Kracken? Triple P? or Something else? I know I need to remove the Mold Release Waxes and Final Prep Material that was put on Boat before it ships. THANKS AGAIN!
Wash your boat with dawn dish soap because it’s a degreaser and will strip wax. Then give the gelcoat a wipe down with isopropyl alcohol to remove any contamination. Apply Triple P prep polish with a foam pad and then you can coat with the ceramic!
Not exactly. After you sand, there should be a very consistent light haze across the entire boat. It won’t be a clear and reflective until after you take a buffer to it.
Thanks for all the videos. Your views probably went up 5% just from me in the last month haha before wet sanding, do i need to use a hull cleaner to remove a light waterline stain? Can i just start with a 500 grit wet sand? Thanks again!
Thanks for your support! A water stain can be sanded out with 500 or even 1000 grit sandpaper. You won’t have to use hull cleaner unless you want to but it’s not necessary
Uh oh, Local Boy is going to love this!
Lol! He can have his fun
