Hi, Jessica love the review. We purchased this IP Blender about 2 weeks ago and we are loving it very much. My wife is constantly making Almond Milk for her smoothies. We haven't had the chance to make soups but hopefully you can demo a couple recipes for us. Keep of the great job your doing.
Can you share your Almond milk recipe?
Your little girl is so adorable! The way she looks at the blender is like she is in awe of it haha
Thank you! This video is really informative and so well put together. Keep it up, me likey!
nice, clear, precise voice, great instructional video, thank you! I received this blender for my birthday from one of our daughters and really looking forward to some soup recipes. Thank you again ~ oh, and some smoothies too :)
So interesting! Awesome review and inserted clips! Really making me want one haha
My daughter just bought me one for my anniversary, and I needed this video! Thank you, it was perfect!❤️
Debra Rivera I'm so glad you were able to find this helpful! I really appreciate you stopping by. 🌸
Best presentation ive seen for this device. Thanks!
Ok....every time I look at my blender..your word will echo ..”it’s a great time to be alive “.😊. And ..I’m officially old ...but absolutely agree with you ...
Yes, Mary Beth...what a great time to be alive, lol!! Glad you found the video helpful.
Hello Jessica I am a first time viewer on your channel and let me start by saying that I really love your enthusiasm and the information that you provide on this video thank you very much keep it up. you're gorgeous by the way
😁
Thank You so much for showing your video on the I.P.Ace. You do a very good job on your demo`s . I believe you have a very nice looking family.
@JessicaSpiers.. I bought it, was excited, decided to do a quick potato soup.. Chopped my stuff into less than 1/2" cubes, added to blender on soup, daughter read directions, we ended up with a puree of half cooked soup, ran for another 18 minute cycle & it still had "very al dente" potato slush.. It stuck to under bottom & after 3 days of sitting & had washed 4 times in blender, I finally took apart & chased down 3 different types of brushes, one was the included one, to finally get all the crap scrubbed out.
It's going back, or MIGHT try a different one. Just because it's new doesn't mean it can't be broken to begin with.
"What a time to be alive!" You are so cute! 😍
I was thinking the same thing
I got one here in Cali for $44.96 at Walmart🥳 today!👍🏻
wendy arias me too in MA. Same price what a steal.
bought one today at that price😊😊
It’s on sale right now at some Walmart stores for $19.
Whaaa??! Got mine for $100😢 Had to order online due to shelter in place. It’s arriving on Wednesday and I’m so excited to make my fave oat milk! I’m also from Cali, in the Bay Area
@@AriWonder That's the 3 speed version not the 10 speed
I just bought a new one for $35 at auction. I think I’m gonna like it.
I have an instant pot, love it, use it all the time. This blender looks amazing!!
Hi, great video, I do have the instant ace plus and I would like to know how to make soy milk if you can help me out. Thanks, Alex.
I just bought a Vitamix 6550, which I haven’t unboxed yet. Then, I saw this, did a little research and ordered one.
Now, I would definitely agree that the Vitamix is a higher class blender, whatever the model you choose but, I think that the IP blender and a few other cooking blenders on the market, may make Vitamix up their game. You know, how Apple was once looked upon as the leader, then, not so much.
For me though, it is about balance. You have to determine how much you want to pay, how much you think you’ll use it, which features are most important to you, how hot you like your soup, and how smooth you need your smoothies to be.
The Vitamix warms by friction from the blades but, the 126 degree temperature in one review was merely tepid. For me, that means that eating the soup might be a rush on a cool day, if I didn’t want it to get cold in the middle of eating. For the IP, it heats the soup to 212 degrees and, I think it’s the Plus model that also has a Keep Warm feature for 2 hours. It also has a delay start for 12 hours but, I’m not so sure I want to drink or eat something that’s been sitting out for 12 hours, especially during the misery of summer. Having the heating plate, I’ve read, is also a bummer for cleaning particularly a cheese sauce out of the IP blender.
Although quite heavy, with that heating element, I do love a glass container though. And that’s a thick glass. They.are.not.playin’.
While the Vitamix Ascent series is handsome, the IP models are better looking IMHO, if you like a good looking machine and leave your small appliances on the countertop.
Where speed is concerned, while I do need to save time in my life, I don’t actually need something blended in seconds as, I have plenty other things to do, while not watching a timed blender program.
The IP does not have BT or WIFI connectivity, like the Vitamix a3500 but, I’m not so sure I need that.
One of the reasons why I’ll give up the Vitamix 6500 is that, although I got it for only $300, not only do I do more in life than blend or even cook, I just like having my money. I rather like IP stepping into this arena as a newbie underdog and bringin’ it! Glass container, heating element, 8 programs, $99? Watch out! This is to say nothing of the fact that they intend to produce Pro and Ultra models with the highest price point maybe being at $199. Can’t WAIT to see what those will have. As soon as those are available, I might have to sell the Plus and get one o’ those.
All in all, I’ll have to see for myself. As I read the reviews, I got the idea that it’s highly personal. Some people need soup in 45 seconds and, once blended, nothing in it can look familiar. Others find stuff to do for 20 minutes, while soup is being prepared and the want a bit of chiunkiness to their soup. One person’s smooth smoothie has to be almost like it was juiced and another’s they love a more sludge like consistency. I would think it’s a bit like choosing g a loaf of bread. Some people like plain white and others like a 12-grain bread that looks like a slice of oatmeal.
I just wanted to get one as, I don’t step out there for Christmas shopping and I doubt there’ll be ones available for immediate purchase locally.
Thanks so much for this comparison
oh girl thank u for this in-depth review! I’m excited to get this blender in and get rid of my cheap a*s blender!!!!
I have been wanting an upgrade to my Ninja blender and automatically thought of the Vitamix. I am so so excited to check the instapot one out though! Especially with the pricing on it! I love the easy options to make a smoothie bowl with the ice cream setting or to make different kinds of milk. I really want to try and make oat milk now haha. It looks so good! Also, it makes so much sense that they actually include a cleaning brush!!!
@@JessicaJSpiers I will! :)
She is so perfect for the Home Shopping Network. 😁. Also if youtube was around in the 50's and 60's there would be so many rich stay at home moms. Its like UA-cam is the Tupperware business of today. I'm just sayin she just reminds me of that type, but it's so cute how she reviews, she kept me engaged. Anyway I'm getting one after seeing another reviewer. It'll be here Saturday, woop woop. And watching this revoew, I'm even more glad with my purchases. Can't wait to start blending some real smoothie. Which will be a big step up for me from my Oyster a classic old blender I've had for years and is still going. Only problem is that while my Oyster is a solid machine for long lasting its not good at all for making smoothies or even just blending at that matter. So anyway Insta Pot here I come.
Thanks for stopping by, you'll love the blender!! Also, if HSN is hiring I'm there! ☺️
Thanks!
I love your review, expecially the oat milk part
Great review. Thanks for sharing.
Great, a perfect review
On sale at Walmart right now for &49.99!
WeAreTexUs i know i just ordered it from them for 44.89 I’m so excited it comes wed.
I like it, but somehow it struggled to blend a smooth hummus in another UA-cam video. A small single serve cup like the one with the Ninja Kitchen would help.
My daughter knew I wanted one when it cost $49, but I didn’t buy it for myself... so she bought it for me (on a trip without me) and gave it to me at Christmas, making sure to tell me that she got it at the $49 price, because she knew I would appreciate the fact she got it on sale almost as much as the product itself. I taught my kids well. 😉❤️
How is it as a food processor?
I was sold after you said it can make oat milk 🥛
I love this blender. Is this affectively a blender and a food processor? Instat Pot also makes a stand mixer you should check out.
This popped up on my Walmart feed and I was like what in the world!!? I have yet to purchase a instant pot I want one so bad for Christmas and now I am wanting this as well!!! I absolutely have to have it!!!
Buy it online from Walmart it's 79.00
@@twylavann5522 IT'S NOW ONLY $47.66 total at Walmart.com!!!
Have this one the way from amazon...thank you....and beautiful nails..btw 😊
It's such a great blender- thanks for stopping by!
Any issues with foaming and bubbles?
Can this blender make nut butter or hummus without stalling?
this is what I want to know
at 9:37 she is like wtf is it dead with a smile
I started a Facebook page called Instant Pot Blender Recipes and Tips. I'm trying to get a collection of recipes since no recipe book was included in the box. Could you please post on the page any recipes for the Instant Pot Blender that you think others may enjoy? Thanks in advance.
Looks like the bottom of the glass part can not get wet?
How do you clean it?
Seriously Rachel? Are you going to post this same comment on EVERY blender post?
Needs a stronger motor to do anything with nuts I think. I bought a 1500W one recently for $90 cdn. Most good blenders have at least 1200W
Do. You have one?
Or
Did you assume?
Is the container dishwasher safe?
Can you demo making a pina colada or margarita? I am curious about this making drinks.
Umm.. stick stuff in blender and hit the button...?
Thank you for this review! I just got one from Walmart for $19! I have been looking for a blender to replace my Kitchen Aid Diamond blender. I'm so excited to use it.
Court McL did you get it online or In the store ? I’m looking to get one as well
@@10GolDenHeaRts I got it in store, so many places are selling out. Online it is 69.99 but you can check your store to see if it went on sale
Can I use that as a food processor and make hummus
Or chop veggies and herbs ?
Also might need food processor , just cluttering kitchen with many gadgets ?
Hi there, unfortunately it doesn't work as a food processor. It can make hummus, but won't chop veggies.
Before I purchase this weekend, will it make soup if you just let it run instead of using the heat function?
@@JessicaJSpiers , so it doesn't actually cook soup or make ice cream? Only chops the items to the correct consistency? I wanted to get one for those features. I live alone and the main reason I don't eat healthier is too much of a hassle because I become distracted so easily and forget that I'm cooking anything. I've burnt several pans boiling water to make a pitcher of tea. Thank goodness I have really heavy bottomed pans, even if they do leave English pea imprints on the bottom after burning. Thanks
@@JessicaJSpiers Thank you so much!!
I have a question about this blender, my Vitamix just went out after 7years and I'm very interested but can it make peanut butter?
@@JessicaJSpiers Awesome! I'll definitely give it a try a buddy of mine uses the Ninja Chef and it does just as good as Vitamix so I see no point in spending another 500$lol thnx again
Question. Have you tried making green juices in the InstaPot Blender? I too have a VitaMix so I'm curious if this works just as well.
The instant pot coffee maker HAS hit the shelves !!
love the milking
Your baby looks like she loves it too! :D
My sister she will loving her gift
Clayii L I'm so glad you were able to find this helpful! I really appreciate you stopping by. 🌸
I love your voice
How hard is it to clean?
Any parts dishwasher safe,
Im curious too. With those electrical contacts on the bottom of the container, is it safe to get the bottom of the container wet? Or the only way to wash it is by blending soap water?
The lid and plunger are DW save however the blender jar itself is not. It is very easy to clean, though. Just rinse it out to get the majority of the debris out and do the clean cycle as she shows. I find it is best to do it right after use.
Just bought it
Tuan Le I ended up getting the ninja one that’s almost exactly as this one but it has better features I got the one in this video and it would not turn on I returned it and that’s when I got the ninja one
I just got mine i went to do a smoothie and it's not doing anything did i do something wrong
I want to make almond flour what button should i go to
I so need this! Thanks for an amazing tutorial!!!!
I didn’t get a measuring cup😩
Lovely video! :) You're so beautiful! Has anyone ever told you that you kind of look like Mia Kirshner?
Absolutely! :) Hugs!
what model is that one?
She has it in the description.
Can I buy your used vita mix?
Lolol! Fer real!
You are adorable ..just came to watch a review cuz kohls has it for $57+($15 kohls cash) and I had to snag one! You should be sponsored nothing better than actually loving the product you speak well of
I am a faithful Ninja user....BUT lol after buying the Instant Pot multi functional blender 🤷🏽♀️ Sorry Ninja......it’s over 💔 . I will definitely be looking into the Instant Pot Crockpot as well as a replacement for my Ninja Crockpot.
What about noise comparison. I find Ninja to be quite loud, in this blender any better when it comes to that? same, less, more?? Thanks in advance.
Walmart is selling this blender right now for $49.00!
I just bought it there for $38! I think they're making room for the newer model.
They are probably bringing the ace plus blender...
This blender can make oatmeal or almonds flour etc ....
It's a wonderful appliance.
What is hydrogen water?
hot water in the smoothie ???
yes because she used matcha
Just a little, to dissolve the matcha. The frozen fruit still keeps it nice and cold. 👍🏼👍🏼
what about soy milk? That's the most challenging non dairy milk to make
how do you clean the bag?
I rinse it under water and use to my hands mostly, then toss it onto the top shelf of the dish washer. Works great!
You may want to keep the vitamix
I don't like the cleaning function it does not clean itself properly
whats hydrogen water?
Water is 2 parts hydrogen, as in H2O
beautiful baby😍
I still thank vitmix is more powerful
Smoking hot!! Dam
I didnt secure the lid 😝😝
Aren't all oats gluten free? And why should they even be... unless you're intolerant gluten is perfectly fine.
Rice milk.....what the heck is that.....
not a chance. my ace blender stopped working and i contacted the company Instant Brands - they have the worst customer service ever. throwing away the ace and getting a vitamix with a 7+ year warranty. no hassles. no worries.
Bad design. The pitcher base can’t be washed.
Pro tip: Put food into the pitcher, don't smear it into electrical components (of the blender or just in general). Hope this helps
I’m looking online for one now. But I originally clicked because you are Insta-Hot😍!
This company always forgets about the european market. And when they finally remember that we do exist still and also spend money they will put their products on the market here for a lot more than the rest of the world. Very unsympathetic.
It's the EU getting their cut...😯
Vitamix user for well over thirty years and NEVER had the lid 'POP UP' as you elude to.
Nothing it BETTER than the Vitamix... maybe as good, but never BETTER.
you should get your 100 dollars back and buy a vitamix lol
I have a Vitamix but I just ordered the Instant Pot Ace. They have different functions.
I took my worthless vitamix back and got my 500.00 back! I think for 500.00 there should be no chunks of food but there was time and time again. Waste of mo eye for the vitamix. Oh I loved my old vitamix, not the new ones though.
This video and this woman reminds me of the Joneses.
Good bye vitamix? Does instant pot have 7yr to 10 yr waranty? Idk? This is a nice blender for what it is but it's far from a vitamix. I've already seen people with burnt food on the bottom and can't clean this. 20 min for soup? I'm sorry but I will stay loyal vitamix. I have no desire to switch. What takes this machine several minutes to complete the other does in seconds. Don't get me wrong. It's nice for those who don't want to spend the money.
The IP actually cooks the raw food, not just heat it. Most likely people with burnt on food put already cooked food in. Common sense goes a long way here.
@@JCcreates927 , so you're saying that the soup and ice cream feature does cook and freeze items?? That is the main function I was looking for!! Please say it's true and I can go ahead and order mine!! Thanks for the help!
@@skintkatz1344 LOL.. NO Skint... it doesn't freeze your food.... it still comes out like soft serve and you throw it in the freezer. Just like the Vitamix.... which is 1000 times better!
@@skintkatz1344 Yes, it does COOK the raw food but does not freeze. We have been LOVING making soups in ours! You can do blended or chunky soups in it. Throw the ingredients in, secure the lid and hit the soup button and walk away. When it's done it beeps and it's ready to serve! Cannot get any easier than that, in my book!
@@kathrynbolen4517 Thanks. You had better luck. My daughter and I attempted a plain ole potato soup, small chunks added, less than 1/2" cubes, onions, scallions, forgot now what else. Hit the longest time and "accidentally" pureed our soup, got the spoon and bowl, ready for Yum-my.. raw potatoes. Hit it through another cycle without puree, scorched, stuck and the potatoes WERE STILL raw! Even after the chop session on the first go around. I haven't tried it since. I'll hit it up again at a later time. Right now, I"m fighting with a pasta machine, with and without motor making ravioli. Sometimes I win, sometimes the dough and ravioli win.. but it still tastes great! =)
I don't like the cleaning function it does not clean itself properly
