i think if you would add a bit more liquid to the smoothie it would have given you a more balanced smoothie. easy remedy. The the comparison of the two soups gives the Ace a real thumbs up in performance.The difference of a few hundred dollars between the two is a no brainer if its just a matter of adding a bit more liquid to compete. Thanks for the review. I'm gonna go for the instant pot Ace.

*I had one of these before and it lasted many years and I used it a lot. It blends **MyBest.Kitchen** chops ,grates. Does most anything you would want to use it for. A lot of bang for your buck. A litlle loud however it so fast it is not bothersome.*

I just got the instant axe plus ..love it
I made fresh tomato soup in my Ace blender, first time for soup in it, & it did GREAT! Even with only coring the tomatoes & not peeling them, the texture was so creamy & tasty.
I put a peeled, cut up onion & two cloves of garlic in first, along with dry sherry, salt, pepper, crushed chili flakes, two chicken bouillon cubes, & some water. The machine did such a great job. When it was done, I added some half & half with a bit of baking soda & pulsed it on low for a few seconds. We absolutely loved it & will make it again. I'm very happy with my IP Ace. Almond nut butter is next on my list. Gonna make some dosa batter sometime soon, too. I love it!

Instant pot ace was 44.50 at walmart so for soup love it.
It’s a great product and the price is amazing. I plan on do some more recipes with it on my channel in the new year.

Thanks for sharing a very well produced video. I do have a Vitamix that I love. However watching this comparison, the Instant Pot Ace earns a strong consideration for those soup lovers out there.

It's not fair that you compared the Instant Pot Ace to the Vitamix. You should have used the Instant Pot Ace Plus since it is more powerful than the Ace and much more comparable to the Vitamix. It has almost double the blending power as the Ace. The Ace Plus has 1300 watts in the blending mode where the Ace is only 700 watts. The Ace Plus is definitely an amazing blender and for under $200 (I've seen it as low as $149.99!)! My smoothies always come out smooth. And it makes amazing soup, nut milks and nut butters!

Nice review! Like the idea of having the Vitamix around and would probably skip on the Instant Pot blender since I have the regular Instant Pot already.
Thanks that a good point if you have a good blender then I would skip the instant pot blender as well.
If you don't have a good blender or the instant pot. You can't beat the price and ease of use

I like my instant pot ace blender for that price I bought it for $49 .soups are very creamy easy to clean put soap and water press the pulse button it’s comes out very clean

Blender Vs Blender, the $600 Vitamix will win every time. I have both. Good job actually understanding, and demonstrating what the Instant Pot Ace is really meant to do. It's especially apparent when you make chunky soups, which is something the Vitamix can't do, as it creates heat by macerating and pulverizing the ingredients.
The Ace is also automatic, even for things like smoothies. That's a valuable feature. Hit the button, walk away to do something else. Return when you hear the beeping.
Did you not find the instant pot ace blender was harder to clean when the soup cooks on the bottom? That is my only complaint really with it. My vitamix never 'cooked' the soup onto the bottom.
I sure did but it wasn't to bad
but i like the choppy pieces i see in the instant pot. am not looking for liquid silk here lol
Well the good thing about the vitamix, I have the 750 pro series. And is a whole lot better
The instant Ace isnt comparable to the instant ACE PLUS. Thats the one you should have compared the VitaMix to.

No not at all
How old is it you might be under warranty?
I bought Insta Pot for $70 in Amazon. It works good for shakes and smoothies. But, when it comes to Cleaning and washing, it is a completely headache. So I returned it and got my money back.

Yes it can but doesn't do a great job.

VITAMIX blender hands down. better service, product, motor, and warranty (8 years!)
The difference between 7 minutes and 20 minutes tells me the Vitamix wins hands down.
The difference is that the Instant Blender actually heats the soup, thus the longer time.
But couldn’t that be accomplished faster on the stove? Just saying.
@@elainedaniels6541 Then you need to add the time of cleaning an additional pot too (and water waste). Note that the Ninja has a self cleaning function that saves time as well. Add the massive price difference and the hands down win goes to Ninja - sorry.
YuToob7 I am not even afraid of washing a few dishes. I still hold by my Vitamix. The Vitamix will out last pretty much every blender on the market.

Before I watch this video, I'm going to assume, that there really is no comparison between the two. 👀 Imo: if you have a vitamix, you don't need a Instant pot🤷🏾♀️ blender.

@@Baba_dees . It was. I did the comparison with the top of the line Vitamix, & the IP Ace (I found a great deal). The IP takes longer. I'll let you know about the taste.

@@Baba_dees Happy Holidays to you, as well. The vitamix soup tasted better to me. But I must say, the IP blender has two soup settings . So, if I would've put it on the second soup setting, the consistency would probably have been the same as the Vitamix. Both was tastey, but the Vitamix soup was definitely better in my opinion.
Please stop doing reviews. The Ace is hands down a superior blender and does every bit as well as the Vitamix and exceeds the capability of the Vitamix. It's not even a close comparison.
