Nice work. A couple of helpful tips for you. When you find your images don't fill the five panels and want to cut your layout down to four (4:23 in your video), it's easier to use Image-->Canvas Size rather than Image Size. It will resize your canvas without "squeezing" the images you have in your composition. Then you can rework your image layout as desired from there. Also, it'd probably be really helpful and more efficient if you add the guides to your canvas display before you even place any images. This way you can see how each carousel panel will be cropped as you work on your layout right from the start. Keep up the good work.
This was super helpful! I've been trying to figure out how to create an Instagram carousel like this! Next, you should show how to do it using only your phone!
hi! I dont know if you can read this. what a great tutorial! it really helped me in creating social media publications for my work. just a little question. how come when i export the file, the only jpeg file is the first artboard and the rest are in gif format. can you help me what to do about it?
Oh also to quickly change width for different number of images, you can set your target image width in the Image Size window, turn off the Lock ratio button, set width to percentage, and then 200% for two images wide, 300% for 3, etc.
Thanks for the info. But there is something i noticed . When you do 1080*5 or less the height remains 1350 but when you do more 1080*6 or more the height changes. Is that supposed to be ok or is there away of correcting this
Very useful video, but I do exactly the same thing with photos which are 20 megabytes each and in the end it saves everything to a 10mb image even though I put jpeg maximum, and when I post it on instagram you can see the decrease in quality from the single photos to the carousel, is there a way to fix this?
Loved It. Only weird thing is that even though I select JPEG from the file type dropdown - the file type that is actually saved is gif. It's got to be my set-up though.
Help - crop individual images on the collage Does anyone know how I can crop the individual images I added in the collage? Most of the time the image section is too large and I have to crop the individual images. But I can't do that beforehand because I only see in the collage which image section I need... And somehow I can only make the individual images larger or smaller, but not crop them...
Is anyone getting TWO little lines when adding the guide lines? For some reason i'm getting 2 lines at each line break so i'm losing a small spot of the pictures when i slice. Any suggestions?

Also making the Image and its respective reel combined as a smart object, to avoid multiple scaling's
I watched 4 videos on how to do this, and yours was by far the best. You're a great teacher, I hope you do more how-to videos like this in the future.

Oh my god! Light on you just perfect!
What made you click on the “save for web legacy” and not “export as” ? Any difference at all if you’re just uploading it to Instagram ?
Hey, this was great, but my images are coming out as a GIF? I followed your method and re tried. Do you know why this is?
Mine is the same, havee you found a solution?
Same, how did you fix it?

Awesome thorough explanation! thanks man!
Made it so easy to learn, Thanks man!!
Then you upload the photos by computer or phone? Because I tried by phone and i lost quality :/
May be a dumb question but how do you change the color of the white space?
2:20 to anyone who doesn't wanna do the math for the width, you can do 1080*4 or 1080*5 and it'll change automatically.
great tip!
