I started watching your videos years ago when I first got curious about graphic design. Today, I work as a designer in an incredible agency and made a career out of it. You're a big part of my success in this field, so thank you!
@@queenrao17 Thank you for your answer. Then there is still hope for me ;-) When you started learning graphic design, what was the biggest challenge for you?
@@oooBoEoNooo Don't know about him, but it was my memory for me. Photoshop has a lot of features, and you can only burn what you've learned into your memory if you apply your knowledge into your projects right after learning about them. Sometimes you forget how to properly use a feature and you will have to rewatch an entire video just to remember, but that is not a problem if you enjoy doing what you do. With time, with so much "watching and rewatching" while applying your newfound knowledge to your projects, you will see yourself pilling up on experience. But in the end, no matter how experienced you are, such tutorials will always be a part of your daily life. There is so much to learn about graphic design that you will never be able to learn it all, so it's an eternal learning process. And for me that's ok.
@@Kokorocodon Many, many thanks for your detailed answer I'm specifically concerned about the subject of graphic design regardless of the software. I don't know why, but I often think that the only way to learn graphic design is to study it at a university. Maybe I think that way because I don't trust myself to do it. A very obstructive way of thinking, I realize. That's why I'm very grateful for any tip that helps me to improve this attitude.
"This tutorial went way longer than I wanted it to" For you maybe. I would've watched for another hour.... You make great tutorials. Thanks for this goldmine of information again.
You apologized for offering too much information in this tutorial. Actually you deserve enormous credit for giving us a lesson jammed with a huge amount of amazing tips. I'm grateful for your effort. Thanks so much.
Been a Graphic designer for 5 years and never had an idea of how to create a shadow of the exact shape of an object, i'm not ashamed to say this because i've learnt how to do it and even more from this channel. whew, you earned a loyal subscriber, thanks for these knowledge, i will apply, much love from Nigeria.
literally the only person who explained why would we use those adjustments/filters in a way that'd help us in other projects & not just how, cause there are million others who show us how to use them but still lack the logical explanation on why would we choose this & not that kind of tool/adjustment. thanks a lot ♥
This is indeed the best method I've ever watch, it's so complete and easy to learn because you broke down every theory like perspective, color grade, value even shadow and lighting in simple way, thank you so much
I am amazed of how far photoshop has grown. I just to have a photo studio and I learned Photoshop very well. For years, I design the coffee table albums and they were beautiful. I closed the photo studio in 2010 and now I find myself missing my first love. I recently I installed the latest Photoshop program and I can't believe how much has changed. Thank you for your videos.
Great performance buddy. Applause. Doing composites for almost 20 years now and you nailed the whole process. Excellent eye for detail. From 17:00 I take a slightly different approach but similar results, allow me to explain. When I adjust Hue and Saturation of the Astronaut (in your case) I ad two fill ayers of 100% Red One layer I set to Hue blending mode and One to Luminosity blending mode, what you see now is the difference of the Saturation With a Hue Saturation layer clipped to the Astronaut, I change the Saturation till it matches the BG. Then I change the Red layer that is set to Hue blending mode to Saturation blending mode, now you see the difference of Hue Again with Hue Saturation layer clipped to the Astronaut adjust I adjust the Hue of the Astronaut till it matches the BG. The throw those RED layers away or switch them off. Later I tweak it like you tweak it. And the most important thing is at the end, add a LUT of some sort to blend it all even more together. Glad you are back man !!! You are still high ranked among the best PS teachers around !!!
Totally honest here, think this is the best photoshop tutorial out there! I couldn't seem to find videos that helped me with what I wanted to learn and this videos just a goldmine - thanks so much!
"I watched your video attentively, not skipping a single second, and the knowledge I gained was invaluable. In my four years of professional life in retouching and Photoshop editing, I've never learned so much. Thank you for this enlightening experience!" :)
this is gold!..As someone like me who took the interest in drawing stuffs. my biggest mistake was not giving attention to perspective, and was always looking at colors and cool manipulations that of course made my edits horrible. So i would like to give advice to someone who dont know the perspective,to learn it as soon as you can. colors and stuffs can go later.learn to make the foundation and structure of house only then you can paint on it

hands down one of thee best teachers and compositing tutorials i have watched. its not always about what and how to but why you made the creative and technical choices. very informative
Thank you! Thank you so much! I want to support you in anyway I can. This video has blessed me tremendously. I love how detailed and visual your teaching is. BRAVO!!!
Wonderful! Horizon lines for properly situating one image on another! Never heard of that before but is so obvious when you point that out. Not only important but critical. So many composites just FAIL in some awkward but baffling way. And here you have identified the culprit. Horizon lines. And, FWIW, ten steps is too many? No problem as you break down the process. Soooo helpful. Mike
