Rivian Official Tesla Supercharger Adapter Test

In this video we test the official Rivian Tesla supercharger adapter. This adapter allows Rivian vehicles to charge at compatible Tesla v3 and v4 Tesla supercharger stations. We test the adapter for function, safety, and charging speed. Special thanks to Sapan Dhora from the Mid Atlantic Rivian Owners Group for allowing me to use his adapter for testing!

Not related to this actual video but what are you gonna get for tires once you need new tires? I heard the 21” tires are tough to find

I'm hoping I've got at least 10-15k before I have to worry about that. I'd like to keep the same tires but if that's not an option may have to go to a different wheel and tire combo.

How do you pay for the charge though?

Great question. So you have two options: 1) plug-and-charge which uses the billing information on your Rivian account and is billed directly by Rivian or 2) You can initiate the charge through the Tesla app which is useful if you want to take advantage of the Tesla membership pricing.

why do you have to move for a tesla?

We didn't have to move but chose to move because we were just testing and didn't need to charge.
