Dandelions do not require pollination to produce seeds. They basically clone themselves. So, in fact just about every dandelion is genetically identical to the rest.
I hope they can still pollinate if they wish. Genetic diversity can be the difference between life and death! That's how we made our original banana species near extinct, after all. We cloned them to high heaven, and when a banana disease sprung forward, there were no bananas capable of resisting the disease. Now we have a different banana species as our main banana, and they're all clones AGAIN! I'm lowkey worried about the next bananapocalypse. EDIT: actually not entirely extinct, but gros michel bananas cannot be grown large-scale anymore, and can only be grown in places without Panama disease
Why did they bother with the flower then if not to attract something? They are well known for attracting pollinators which is one of the reasons why they are a welcome addition to any garden. They can pollinate themselves but are also pollinated by insects.

Dandelions are a deception by NASA, to distract you from the fact that your garden isn't a globe. Your garden is flat, wake up sheeple (for the sake of clarity, this was a joke)
That really was exciting and beautiful! With just one type of flower you can see how much God loves us. He is unbelievably creative and He used it in so many ways on this planet. All for us!
If dandelions existing and being pretty means God loves us, what does people dying of starvation and disease every day mean? You can't have it both ways. If pretty flowers are evidence of his love, painful diseases are evidence of his cruelty.

I bet the fluffy puffball shape of the white dandelion was naturally selected by generations of human toddlers
Nope. Those white puffs carry the seeds so more dandelions can spread over more land. It is naturally selected by wind. The lighter the seeds, the farther it travels to spread.

@@Webnose or is a danger to the environment around it due to no natural predators, thus taking over and destroying whatever was there before. Dandelions aren't THAT harmful, but they are an invasive species and can take over fields for hay to feed cattle. Cattle won't eat dandelions.
aphids have to eat also
Dandelions do not require pollination to produce seeds.
@@xhisteriah ITS THE BANANAPOCALYPSE
Why did they bother with the flower then if not to attract something? They are well known for attracting pollinators which is one of the reasons why they are a welcome addition to any garden. They can pollinate themselves but are also pollinated by insects.

um ok the plant isnt dead if it was those seeds would never sprout
dandelions are meant to be caught by the wind so the seeds can spread... so, when we blow on them, we're actually helping their lifecycle.
I think Case J is talking about the bloom withering, not the plant itself dying. Blooms ‘die’ but if the plant continues to live it will bloom again and again

Hi, I don't think it will be practical to use growlights outdoors. They need high wattage and are big and heavy. You are best off using a 2000W lamp but take care not to burn the plant. Sunlight on a cloudless day will be the best solution though. Yes, I mainly film in my studio where I can control light, temperature humidity etc.

Absolutely. They are also wonderful medicine for anything that ails us.
If dandelions existing and being pretty means God loves us, what does people dying of starvation and disease every day mean? You can't have it both ways. If pretty flowers are evidence of his love, painful diseases are evidence of his cruelty.
