the shower room is one of my favorite caves as a general bath and shower lover. tiled bath sublevels as a concept would later return in pikmin 4 to a slightly less evocative but very pretty effect incredibly curious how raocow's going to deal with this cave's boss, considering previous episodes! EDIT: the runoff drain sublevel is among the best in the game, excited for next time
I appreciate the discussion of optimising Pikmin force composition; Personally, being an overly cautious sort, playing myself I would probably go for: 32 each of yellow and blue, 18 red, 12 purple, 6 white (100 total) Based on the logic of treasures being potentially submerged or in hard to reach places, while not using exact multiples of 5 to allow some breathing room for losses. (And also for dealing with enemies in water or are flying / have a height advantage) It is admittedly low on attack power - would mostly rely on accurate throws with purples to stun and then swarming with the rest.
(2:53) Yep, this looks like a shower room alright. (3:08) Rocks fall, but nobody dies if you're careful. (4:02) That frog tried to pancake your team, but got obstruced by the squirt gun guy. (4:17) Who wants pancakes? Now it gets a couple kills. (5:22) Whoa, what are those idiots trying to do? Good thing you called them off before they could get zapped! (6:01) It's a 100% Orange Juicer. :P (7:08) Merciless Extractor: 90 Pokos. (9:52) Fortunately, you didn't need the Ice Beam and missiles to deal with that jellyfish. :P (10:34) Happy Boxing Day! :P (11:36) Sud Generator: 60 Pokos. Yep, it can certainly generate a sud alright. (12:45) Durable Energy Cell: 160 Pokos. Yep, that sounds like what Duracell could stand for. (15:02) Mirrored Stage: 140 Pokos. (21:05) Scruptious Shell: 60 Pokos. (22:02) Vorpal Platter: 60 Pokos.
I think since he learned his fighting combo, it means he doesn't lose Pikmin just fighting with Olimar. He's still skittish about losing them, which he's slowly getting over.
The game yesterday: "Remember that you can swap characters! It is extremely important to this dungeon!" *Not a single swap required so far* It is required for the boss though.
_Captain! We've managed to avoid drowning!_
This entire dungeon was underwater, so the falling tadpoles make sense
I always think it's cool when raocow slips into french
The jellyfish can kill the pikmin they suck up. Hypothetically. It takes like, 30 seconds to do so.
Looks like it took the flowers off some Pikmin, too.
@@Filbi That would be from shaking them off, not from sucking them up, but yeah

It looked to me like the jellyfish did have an effect on their victims.
That battery expired 15 years ago 😵
Hocotate society is going to lose their minds when they discover that batteries corrode

what made him so scared to fight dwarf bulborbs normally lol

Raocow has issues aiming and dwarfs punish that one of the most.
The Larva....
Already looking forward to raocow's creative method of dealing with the last floor.
You were pretty lucky with the jellyfish! They can digest the Pikmin they suck up, but it’s not instantaneous. Be careful!
