It makes sense that the bathroom dungeon's been pretty chill, tiled floors are _terrible_ at retaining heat! Meanwhile, poison enemies! raocow: *panics, repeatedly whistles Pikmin to keep them away from poison enemy * Game: "Hey, did you know some Pikmin are immune to poison?" *gives white flower as reminder * raocow: "Oh, thanks, free whites!" *transforms some reds * ... raocow: *dismisses pikmin and takes care of poison spider with Olimar, to protect the poison-proof whites * It worked out well because of the other two spiders, but it _is_ pretty funny to see the game try and fail to get a determined player to interact with its mechanics!
Going through the trouble of waiting on the purple pikmin to blossom just to immediately take them to fight 2 enemies that de-power them was interesting.
lord knows bugs love stagnant, old water. the real shock is there isn't mold everywhere the soft, calm pipe floor has the most "Selected Ambient Works 2" vibe of any pikmin 2 song/sublevel the "drainage vent" map part is underutilized overall but...considering how awkward it can be to work with, maybe that's for the best (i've had treasure get stuck there until it explodes out on this 5th floor in specific even, due to being the packed sardines instead of a bottle cap)
The drainage vent is programmed for the treasure to spawn in there, but it can also spawn a little enemy in there too, I had a nasty surprise throwing blues into it only for one or two pikmin to be eaten and suddenly not having enough to carry it out.
(1:06) A few of those butterflies are different colors. Do those mean anything special? (2:01) Yellow is the new blue. :P (3:06) You're already at 100 Pikmin on the field, so... (3:14) Yeah, it'll just color-change 1 Pikmin without adding any more. (3:49) Arboreal Frippery: 10 Pokos. Tied for the cheapest treasure you've acquired so far. (6:00) Who wants pancakes from a deceased frog? :P (7:22) That's shenanigans how that wind can go through the wall. (11:02) Pondering Emblem: 100 Pokos. (11:59) You could've probably waited until you were done gathering all the treasures and stuff on this floor before plucking those guys. (13:55) Endless Repository: 130 Pokos. (15:20) Broken Food Master: 90 Pokos. (16:36) Oh, geez! A fart bug! (17:04) Whew, no casualties. (19:11) Abstract Masterpiece: 30 Pokos. Remember to reject this masterpiece if the button is up. :P (22:15) Rubber Ugly: 90 Pokos. Well, that seems kind of rude to name it that. (23:34) Zap. An electric spider? Is it trying to be a Joltik? :P (25:09) Behemoth Jaw: 100 Pokos.
Good to see the purple army getting put to good use. Pity about those withering blowhogs, though, but at least they can't actually kill anyone. Hope we get to see the President in action tomorrow. Good luck with the boss fight tomorrow, it's a tricky one!
"Are yellows like, too high?" *picks up a strange leaf*

4:20 "Kill a bunch of butterflies, that's always fun."
alright Sparx from the videogame series Spyro the Dragon

Why do I get the feeling that if raocow ever plays pikmin 4 he’s going to solo the whole game with Oatchi?
Yep that was definitely an ordinary, completely legal leaf

Fire Swan sounds like it would be a good prog-rock album.
it's my favorite ELO record
Those spiders look just like the harvestmen I used to get in my bathroom
You had spiders as big as bottlecaps?
@@MrOmegatronic I mean they're pretty skinny guys but in terms of circumference, yeah.
@@MrOmegatronic if you count the legs that's easy

The ambient music used in the Shower Room kind of reminds me of Minecraft music. Super soothing.
Nice to see you enjoying the game abit more😊
To those blue Pikmin who prioritized the ducky over Copter Jim: I salute you 🦆
Stink bug is so rude
Normally I think making this joke about any leaf that vaguely resembles the shape is pretty boring but like
That was a marijuana leaf
