Subscribed. I have a turbod cobra that's been unfinished for years. Glenn's sumped fuel tank and twin 255s th400 jw everything d.s.s 4.6 all the works. Needs proper tuned and finished up. Been this way for 6 years. 4 years in storage
@@Baltimoreborn no your wrong 03-04 Cobra and 03/04 Mach 1 both run a 32 Valve iron block 4.6 V8. The Cobra has the Eaton supercharger strapped to the block while the Mach 1 has a Shaker set up.

The 4.6 mod motors really were a great foundation for great power, once you get rid of the Lego quality rods and pistons (non cobra), they're good to go.
What about the tt minion? It still has the 4.6 4v motor pushing about 1500whp and it’s still a t-56 manual running low 7’s in the 1/4 mile while banging his own gears

The 03 Cobra is one of the baddest cars out there it’s easy now to do really good mods on the Cobra 4.6 then again it was already very heavy built it’s got a lot of good stuff in it stock it takes very little to put a lot of power in it with the right stuff it could definitely put out over 2,000hp easily with very little mods and the 4.6 can rev really high because of it’s small block format I would like to see someone put a flat plane crank in a 4.6 bet it could rev way over 10,000rpm before redline it would also sound amazing there’s something cool sounding about a high revving V8 I wish I could afford an 03 Cobra if you find them people want a small fortune for them it suck’s because they are such amazing Mustangs that’s one sweet ride
I hate rustangs but I also am a true gearhead and I give props where they are due. So props to you my friend on this build and actually keeping it with its original 4.6 great job.
I’m driving my grandpa’s 2004 F150 with the stock version of this motor with about 95K miles ha! Wish I could afford to totally rebuild, refresh, and modify it!

No gear vendors. Even if I had one, you wouldn't use the overdrive in wide open throttle operation.
