Thank you Rachel dan Logesh bawak kami "jalan-jalan di US"....Disebabkan sekarang COVID ,x leh pergi luar negara...at least dpt tahu tempat2 menarik kat US....lepas ni logesh bnyk kan content2 pergi tempat2 menarik kat US..selagi masih di US,gunakan la peluang tu sebaik mungkin.....karang dah balik malaysia,,,x merasa dah..logesh buat content melawat tempat2 yang jarang orang Malaysia tahu..biasa orang malaysia tahu Hollywood je..logesh pergi tempat lain....at least dpt belajar lagi budaya sana..Just cadangan je....orang Malaysia suka content2 mcm ni

I am a broccoli lover, for malaysian chinese, we do stream sliced broccoli then cook a sauce of mixture of osyter+cooking oil and little fried garlic... Then the sauce boiled mix it or broccoli dip on the sauce, that maybe become your next favourite...😂😂😂

Heyyy i have a coffee allergy. For me the minute it hit my tongue i will straight away feel nauseous and have a massive headache and immediately knocked down after that. So i can definitely relate with Rachel. I have to make sure none of the food or drink i buy have coffee in it. I even tried it recently and boy do i regret it after that.

By the way, I do have a colleague who is allergic to coffee, another one is allergic to chocolate. They both will have massive migraine when they have it.
You can make spring onion pancake (Chinese/Korean style) and smash cucumber salad as an alternative!

@@KumaarFamily tamu is basically like “pasar” as we know in Malaysia.. they sell agricultural and local product like rice, traditional food, kraftangan etc..

Oh...sugar cane, is taken as a fruit or make as sugar cane juice. Need the special machine for juicing. Logesh, is called tebu in malay.

Its like a Nat in north malaysia..but after pandemic come Nat not open yet..maybe in certain place have..but in my area not open yet..love to go Nat bcs they have many delicious food like laksa kuala perlis,nasi kandaq bajet and harumanis manggo

Im Soooooooooo jealous and lucky both of you have a wondeful farmers market with fresh vegetables, fruits,bakeries, sweet stuff and others. Saw a colourful caulilower...Is it expensive buying vegetable in America especially at the market? Here in Malaysia some of vegetable so expensive for example broccoli cost RM8.80 ( 1kg ), brussel sprouts RM10 ( 250grms) .... really like both vegetable but its so expenive in Malaysia and only buy only for special occation
I love bread alot and sourdough bread one of my favourite but only buy it once a month its expensive here too...

you'll should try sugarcane juice it is also good but try adding some ginger and honey with it. It is good for health, FYI some may not like that taste, try little though it will be nice

I'm like Rachel. Coffee allergy is real!! I get terrible gastro experiences when I consume coffee ; bad bad acid reflux, vomitting, gastritis. Developed allergy to it in my teen. My gastroentrologist confirmed it. I wonder what is Ms Rachel's allergy symptoms?

Edited: by the way, sugarcanes belong to the grass family, Poaceae, like an economically important flowering plant family that includes maize, wheat, rice etc... sugarcane is called Tebu (pronounce- təbu) in Malay hehe

Don't throw away the tebu ( suger cane ) . Cut a segment and plant it in your back yard. It grows easyly.
Brussel Sprout..Only tried those once.It's taste great.Not too many place that sell those here.Normally only high end groceries sell those.U will not find it at Kedai Runcit.Quite expensive here in Malaysia.(maybe only expensive for me - 😭😭)
I do know that there are various types of mushrooms dishes out there and it's quite common but I would like to see how Logesh cooked the mushrooms.We could learn as well.

Pasar tani kat L.A time ni....ada tebu lagi tu wau....saya juga suka brussel sprout dan broccoli. Sautee dgn mentega dan bawang putih. Makan dgn roast chicken dan kentang putar....best. Harga strawberry disana dan kat Cameron Highland kalau tak convert currency sikit lebih kurang aje..... balik malaysia cuba madu tualang atau madu kelulot kat kampung rumah saya Tanjung Ipoh, Kuala Pilah. Bila balik Malaysia datang sini makan itik salai , daging salai atau keli salai masak lemak cili api. Mesti Rachel suka punya. Stay safe

Idk about a coffee allergy but I have an egg intolerance. I haven't eaten eggs for years and tried free range Nellie's amd I don't get as sick as I do for regular eggs. Your market is a lot larger and more variety I feel.

Im not sure if I have coffee allergy but I do have different effect when consuming coffee.. It make me feel sleepy as if Im on sleeping pill.. If i dont get a sleep after coffee, I ll get headache or dizzy (depand how much I consumed). So when I do crave for coffee, I ll have it at night before going to sleep 😆

Tips for farmers market... I dunno. How about go there as early as you can because the early birds often gets the best worms! Thats what I do here at Pasar Tamu on Sundays, certain item/things tends to sold out really fast and certain things can only be found at a certain seasons.

My friend allergy to coffee too, once she smell it she can get headache so don't talk about drink it because she tried before and she fall asleep immediately and I have no idea why but I understand there some people allergy to coffee.
