Tips for a good watermelon: you want it to look kinda spiderwebby and gross on the outside (brown webbing) and spots of dark dried goo on the outside, that means there’s so much sugar in the fruit that it’s starting to seep out, so it’s extra sweet! You want it to be dark with stripes that are close together and a big dark yellow spot. When you hit it, listen for a sound that sounds like it’s very full of water, not hollow

Don’t eat them separately- should take a small portion of rice, egg and longanisa (sausage) all together in one bite! Then you get the real taste! (Adding some of the vinegar too is recommended too!)

Omg finally something I know the answer to 😂 okay here we go for the best watermelon you wanna look for;
the ones that are more round than oval - the more round the more evenly distributed and sweet it’ll be!
Choose the ones that look more dull than shiny, if they have little scars/scratches/webbing, that’s a good thing!
Then the good old classic, the field spot/yellow spot will tell you which ones are sweeter - the yellow spot indicates more time ripening on the vine
And finally, when you check for the sound, use a closed fist like you would knock on a door and the more it sounds like a solid door - the better it’ll be 😉
