The Zoot had a lot to live down: When they started around 1966 as a pop band their management persuaded them to wear pink matching suits & they were promoted with a ‘Think Pink’ campaign. This recording just about redeemed them. 🤔
There was also a Rick Springfield cartoon show in the 70's. In the cartoon, he wore the same overalls as in this video. It's kinda tragic I remember that....

Birtles would later co-found and be one of the key members of the Little River Band
Haven’t listened to Zoot for years - great band. Rick Springfield Born 23 August 1949 NSW Australia aged 72. He’s still living in USA, I guess??
