Services alternate between semi fast and stopping with both services calling at Orpington and Sevenoaks after London Bridge and the semi fast skipping Hildenborough, Frant, Stonegate, Etchingham, Robertsbridge and West St Leonards stations at quieter times of the day. Additional services operate between Charing Cross and Tonbridge to Ashford International, Dover Priory and Ramsgate. There are also stopping services to Orpington and Sevenoaks from London Cannon Street. Charing Cross services have 4 platforms at London Bridge with Cannon Street services having a separate 3 platforms. Hastings has slower alternate services once an hour to London Victoria via Eastbourne and Gatwick Airport operated by Southern from Ore. There is interchange with the East Coastway and Marshlink routes St St Leonards and Hastings. At London Bridge there is interchange with the Northern and Jubilee lines, interchange with Southwark Jubilee line at Waterloo East as well as the Waterloo & City, Northern, Jubilee and Bakerloo from Waterloo as well as South Western Railway services. Northern and Bakerloo Underground connections are at Charing Cross.
The rolling stock on this route is class 375 Electrostar trains which usually operate on this route in 8 carriage formations but can operate as 3, 4, 6, 7 or 8 carriage services. Class 377 Electrostar can operate the route if required and as far as Tunbridge Wells where some additional services operate to class 465 and class 466 Networker trains operate. On Metro Southeastern services around London class 707 City Beam operate.
This route is fully electrified using DC third rail electrification. This route is mainly double track with 4 tracks from London Bridge to Orpington and a short single track section south of Tunbridge Wells.

I do like the Southeastern Class 375 as well the Class 377/5 and the Class 376. Which all 3 Electrostars have been manufactured by Bombardier (now Alstom).
