This route is not very reliable at the moment since the class 805 have been introduced.

I am looking forward to the refurbishment of the EMR class 158 and class 170.

I think it's a shame the class 379 were not available at the time EMR needed trains for the Connect services as they offer nicer interiors for the longer journeys which the current 3+2 seating is not suitable for.

The class 158 trains 🚂 🚊 🚆 used to be used in the southwest and north of England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 named FGW - First Great Western had worn the WE - Wessex Trains 🚂 🚊 🚆 and FTPE - First TransPennine Express had worn the FTPE - First TransPennine Express livery. Great video, mate. At least EMR still keeping their 158s (most likely on the Liverpool/Norwich services), but it would be a shame to see meridians going they've good character to them 😢.

I hope the Bakerloo line eventually makes it to Lewisham and takes over the Hayes line.

I would like to see the Dunfermline to Alloa line reopened for passenger services to give Fife circle stations direct Glasgow services.

The old Bromsgrove station must have had an even slower start as it was closer to the incline.

I will miss the 222 when they leave EMR but it is likely that other operators will use them. I would like them to go to Cross Country but I don't think that will happen. EMR keeping the 158 for the Norwich route is interesting but makes sense, hopfully they can operate some services as 6 carriages on this route once they receive the final 170.

I think a lot of Brighton passengers will now use Thameslink as it is cheaper and offers better connections to many parts of London.

It's good that this route is now planned to regain the 15 minute frequency all day.
