@@Gruin Yes, it does reset TPS to TCM, and it is a "relearn", but it will NOT fix a underlying problem, if you have one. I should have clarified that in a later reply. So, yes, it does work, but only if you don't have an underlying problem. So yes, thumbs up for the reset. 👍
I ended up getting a switch that connects to the foot gas pedal making more responsive. It helped a little but still get hard shifting once in a while.
this is what my 2015 gmc Sierra is doing, it will slip out of 3rd just briefly usually when I am accelerating slowly. this is after I replaced transmission ,did not have the issue before replacing the trans had something differant going on anyway since then I already one time had the TCM supposedly replaced (I wonder if they just re-set it....) it went for about 750 miles with zero issues then back to this odd slipping in 3rd thing again.very annoying and if left alone it just gets worse until I get check engine light and it will really start shift weird then. I am, afraid to even try to reset it . its under warranty but I dont trust this transmission place at this point looking to fix it myself or take somewhere else.curious to hear what yours is doing exactly ngiodsi@@weeniehitjr5527

This will only erase the stored data of your transmission who "learned" your driving habits. At best you wont notice much. IF you have the model that support this "resets" you wont fix a tranny shifting like is about to grenade by just pressing the gas for 15 seconds.

I have 07 3500 and my speedometer started working again after I changed the speed sensor on transmission
