Berettini’s backhand is a little bit better than before
I thought the same. Greetings from Rome Italy
we have to see it on the hard courts. On the clay he has more time to prepare the shot and he can play efficiently the slice. On the hard courts it's quite different, the slice is no more efficient like clay or grass too. In that case he has yet to show us that his backhand is better than before.
Berrettini right now is a tough client for anybody.
oui, il est revenu à son meilleur niveau!
Yes, well said
Absolutely! He proved it against Sinner in Wimbledon. Yes, Sinner won, but all 3 sets were 7-6.
Without injuries he is easily top 20 material
@@WalisonSilva97 top 10
Berrettini is very strong.💪💪💪
Maybe if he will start an epic rivalry with Sinner
Wow such a great game and great sportsmanship between the two!! Hope to see Matteo in top 10 again!!!
Berettini might just return in top10 at the end of the year.
I mean the only reason he left were injuries. Every time he's fully fit, he has the level of a top 10 player. Always top 5 in grass on my opinion
@@tennisvideos8514Vero, sarebbe bello rivederlo nella top ten.
Oggi la sua vittoria è stata una grande gioia per me. 😊
He has played like 6 tournaments this year. Left out 2 grand slams. Ther is no possibility to that. But maybe next year
@@johannes5779 There are still US Open, 4 masters, 5 ATP500s and a bunch of ATP250s left. Dont forget Sinner surfed into top10 only raising his level since August. The chances are small, but I think it's possible
@@tennisvideos8514 you can say top 3 on grass probably
Berrettini is such an all-around great player on every surface. I'm glad he's able to make a comeback
ridiculous comment
@@johnny09876 Why? Matteo has had succes on every surface?
berettini is basically a servebot with a semi-decent forehand, dafuq are you talking about
@@umiramtrudnowell he’s a very effective one then
@@umiramtrudno he has a great forehand and a great backhand slice
Berretini is a top ten player
It's just the injuries man.... :((
I mean literally he’s always belonged in the top 10, every time he’s been healthy since 2021 he’s been top 10 level
Maybe not a top 10 but a top 20 for sure
@@pbonacina69no surely a top 10 player…5-8 IMO
E migliorato anche di rovescio se sta bene starà stabilmente in top 10
Congratulations, Matteo! He was unlucky in Wimbledon to meet Sinner in the second round, he would have gone far in the tournament.
Love seeing Berrettini get back into this kind of form. It’s been such a shame not seeing him play at this level we know he’s capable of
Berrettini made sure we remember why he was a terror on clay and grass
He's not so bad on hard courts either. Remember he's the only one to have beaten Carlos in five sets at a GS tournament (AO 2022) and made it to US Open semi's. He's an equal opportunity court abuser! 😂
@@godz4ever404 yes , but I think you agree with me when I think he is better on grass and clay. Anyway I'm glad he didn't have any hand problems. He's a great player
@imperialisfut2611 the questions is is he better on grass or clay ?
@@imperialisfut2611 If I had to pick, I would say grass. But a healthy Berrettini is dangerous on ALL surfaces! 💯🎾💪
@@Holyspace305 on grass
Berrettini and Nadal in the finals, can’t get much better
what a serve. berrettini forcing errors on tsitsipas's backhand return on clay. normally, clay gives tsitsipas that extra split second he needs to be solid on his backhand side.
it was gstaad...faster clay
I think tsitsipas backhand is too weak at this moment, he should do something about that like Federer did in 2017 , otherwise he will be soon diminishing as a grandslam contender.
Indeed, he needs to improve it all around: take it on the rise and flatten it when possible, make his slice less floaty, and improve the disguise on his drop shots. Lots to work on!
He already out of grandslam race .. his baby back hand will never ever make up champion even in any tournament in coming future..
So glad to see berrentini getting to his old level
Wow 🔥 Bravo congrats matteo Berrettini👏
Happy for Matteo the Hammer Berrettini. Winning against Tsitsipas on clay is a great thing 😊
Bravo Quentin!

J'adore le petit jeu de Halys, un peu comme Corentin Moutet. ça fait du bien de voir ça aussi ça change.
... mais derrière un service d'ours ! ; )
Berrettini is the boss. Wonderful match. Good battle.
Berrettini is back❤
Very nice game from Halys! 👍🏻 Go on!!
Good to Berrettini playing so well this year after injuries.
Tsitsipas had finished the year in the Top 6 for 5 consecutive years (2019-2023) but I doubt if he’ll make it to the ATP Finals this year. Same with Rublev who finished in the Top 8 for 4 consecutive years (2020-2023).
Grande Berrettini, bellissima vittoria, complimenti.💪👏
Couldn’t be happier to see berrettini so well
Bravissimo Matteo! ♥
Berettini aint no joke
Halys ❤❤❤❤
Titsis play has become so samey and readable!
Great to see Il Martello back in form 🔨💪
So happy for Matteo! He deserve to win!
Very happy for Matteo...he really deserve this win.
If he stay healthy top 10/15 is coming very soon
In tennis there is nothing to do: from my amateur level to ATP, the stronger is the one able to play better the most important points of match. Berrettini is this kind of player. Greetings from Rome Italy
I´m really looking forward to see Berrettini next week live in Kitzbuhel 😃
Of berretinni plays like this he is he big contender for the us open
Good job Berettini from Greece🤝
Berettinis tennis has improved alot since he split from his long term coach. He plays more confidently as well.
Tsitsipas has won tournaments and a lot of dough, but he is just a punching bag now and has been for a while
This Halys played ice cold calm tennis
I have seen Halys since he was 18yo. He never played this good. I hope he can duplicate his perfomance to his succeeding tournaments!
The balls fly in this crazy altitude
Grande partita Berrettini❤❤
If all goes well, Italy will soon have 3 tennis players in the top 10. Good to see Berrettini back. Great player.
who's the 3rd player? For Musetti, unless he changes coach, it won't happen. Arnaldi top 30 at best. Cobolli top 20 at best in my opinion.
D@@fouthdimension3601
Darderi may be top 15 in two or 3 years for me
Musetti isn't that far. If he keeps the mental he can surely get to top 10
@@fouthdimension3601 Federico Cinà, mark this name
berrettini is really 1 of the best players right now
Subpar form from jan lennard struff. Love him from Iran
Solid player Boss Berrettini
Berrettini and Nadal is back in shape!
how is Nadal back? he's losing sets to players that would not win more than 2 games per set against in-form Nadal
@@mario_2211 Although he is not at his prime, at age 38 he is playing incredibly well right now. A few months prior he was losing way more matches but now he made it to his first final in 2 years! He is definetly far from best don't get me wrong..
RAFA IN FINAL AGAIN!!! CONGRATS!!
With that one hander, I don't see Tsitsipas winning any big tournament... Alcaraz showed the template to the entire world ...
It's a pain to see him with that BH but that strong FH
Already won year end champs and 3 masters.
Lols.. here he talked about grand slam.. which he will never win..@@vijayendranvijay457
I'm surprised that Stuff skipped Hamburg to play in a lower category tournament. Even more if you think that the tournament is in his home country
Good sport video. Thanks
Tsitsipas, instead of developing, goes from bad to worse. He urgently needs to hire a good coach and work more. It's a shame that such a talent goes to waste.
I think you are totally right !! Tsitsipas as I have seen him so far , is nowhere near the top ten players . And you can see that he doesn't have the fighting spirit or the passion that he had a few years ago when his was hyngry for titles , and goals !! I think the problem is that he earned a lot of money way too soon and that made him lazy in his training sessions ,so to develop and be a better player , and of course he loves the luxury lifestyle ......
tsitsipas to be fair seems more mature and friendly, even though his tennis level is still low.
Is Struff injured or something? The serves seemed so uncomfortable for him. Hope he's okay
THE HAMMER IS BACK
I don't understand people surprised by Berrettini; sure, his backhand has always been weak, but it's obvious (with that serve and forehand) he can beat anyone (or at least be competitive).
After all, he was world No. 6, finalist in Wimbledon and semifinalist in NY and Melbourne, not to mention the 2 Queen's and the other tournaments (not just on grass) won.
Clear, if he doesn't play because injured (as has happened in recent years) he can't be competitive, but it's equally clear that when healthy (specially in this tennis era) he's an easy top ten.
the backhandless match goes the way of the italian!
Again Tsitsipas’ weak backhand. He has a world class forehand but ITF level backhand. His coach could not find a solution for his weakness. He is doing a lousy job!
Like a game from berrittini
I wonder how beautiful and why was it beautiful - regarding Roger Federer one handed Backhand, when I'm watching others....
Tsitsipas must get a very good coach, pay him well, if he wants to star in the future. His backhand is bad. Let's get some advice from Federer
Tsitsipas: When you know your drop shot is not a good option, dont play it ! OMG basics ...
Stefano's is cooked
We’re all talking about beret Toni but what about Halys, what a run
6:21 ...sorry, what?
Grazie Matteo
J ai vu le match , un Berettini excellent 🎾👌💙💙💙💙😄😄😄
Циципас как и Михаил южный выскочкий Стефаноса не неожиданно
Yes...the Italian Berrettini
06:22 they killeda bird poor
Berrettini's one hand backhand is better than Tsitsipas' backhand.
Wonder why Stuff didn’t play in Hamburg
Struff gave so much points easily
Berrettini 7-6 7-5 Tsitsipas
Halys 6-3 7-6 Struff
Guys like Tsitsipas, Rublev, Ruud and even Zverev are becoming the "Journeymen" generation of tennis.
lmao I like the comparison
Good thing for Thiem that he won a GS so ! ; )
On the video thumbnail Berrettini looked like Federer.
Tsitsipas has some serious technique issues on his backhand, especially when under pressure. And his forehand is not powerful enough to do consistent damage. He’ll never be top 5 player IMO, but still good life and prize money as a top 10-15 player. Better than a day job in Greece.

Interesting Matteo breaking down Stefanos backhand because that's weaker side of both men. Stefanos even his slice backhand is weak.

who has a better backahnd berretini or stef😂
Top 15 are soooo bad compared to 25 years ago. Especially the Top 10. Every tournament we in and week out ,Top seeds and players CONTINUE to have bad loses against inferior players. Never ever happened back then. Once in a while ,which is to be expected. But now , it's a Never Ending Story.
Tsitsittini
Tsisipas need to change his father coach inmediately
Sad to see TSITSIPAS not improving at all.. something needs to change as soon as possible... It's sad to see his talent to be wasted, we know he is not that athletic... Maybe it's time to find a new coach and actually get better ?
Tsitsipas is one of the most athletic players on the tour, especially for a tall guy.
@@Tom-sx6nn As much as I dislike Tsitsipas style, it's true. I don't know why he says he's not athletic. However, he really needs to find another coach. His progression is becoming stale. It's pretty high level, but he gotta do something if he wants to go to the next level. His serve, smash and forehand are very good. His backhand is what preventing him to be the top player he used to be imo.
I think West Ham is going to win Champions League this year.
Tsitsipas, wasting time and talent with his dad. He's becoming more and more pathetic, the most unprofessional footwork when hitting the bh, I've never seen Roger or Stan moving like a flea on the court.
