Coercive control is layered and extensive. It completely explains why victims are unable to get away from abuse, and how victims aren't able to *really* become "survivors" in reality. It just continues. With all of the AI/ML layers out there and ecosystems, shouldn't people be able to understand this more? So much goes into each situation.

Men and children can be subjected to Coercive Control. Patterns of behaviour can usually identify this and hopefully the new law will be well implemented. Sorry you have been through this, my brother has too. Though the stats show us women are more likely to be subjected to coercive control that doesn’t mean it can’t happen to anyone.
