I used to have one on my semi and it broke. It wasn't fumoto though. I don't drive the Chevy very often, so I don't do oil changes very often either. Does the oil drain pretty quickly with your drain valve or does it slow down the flow quite a bit?
@@aftersolo It doesn’t slow it down much at all with the valve wide open. Being able to put that hose on it to control where it drains it so nice. Also, I poke a small hole in the filter and let it drain into the pan before I take it off. I let the filter drain 10-15 minutes because I’m in no hurry. Saves a lot on clean up.

I got a Fumoto drain valve with a 90 deg spout nipple. I just put a short hose on the nipple and it drains straight into the pan.

@@duggydo yes sir. Exactly what I do with the filter on my semi. It holds a gallon and it's tucked way up in the frame.
