During the end of the roll, if you take the other open end and fold it once toward the main roll and make sure that where the fold meets the roll is on the bottom it will help keep the interior of the roll clean and dry.

That's not how you use a cowboy wrap. The outer layer should be in a diamond position, and the inner in a square laid over it. That was you can actually wrap the top and bottom around you, not just the sides, and bust out of it quickly if need be
