Turkey tail mushrooms scientific name trametes versicolor are a medicinal mushroom found commonly all over the world. They can be identified by the rings on their top side and small pores on their underside. The only lookalike has gills instead of pores. Simmering the turkey tail mushrooms for a half hour produces a healthy and good tasting tea.

How big is the tarp you use?
Gracias por haber hecho el vídeo. Me gustó mucho. La idea de los cinturones me parece genial. Solo una idea para un próximo vídeo: explicar que llevas en tu bolsa y lo que personalmente recomiendas. Saludos desde España.
Wastelander shampoo AND ersatz sunflower seeds. Nice!
someone loves you mister nobody
totally
the rock border is unnecessary? interferes with the draft draught of air some climates are wetter moving air is key to the campfire never leave a fire untended love you, brother teacher
I'm glad it doesn't matter where you are or came from
is it true the quarter moon rises at midnite in texas?
That's not how you use a cowboy wrap. The outer layer should be in a diamond position, and the inner in a square laid over it. That was you can actually wrap the top and bottom around you, not just the sides, and bust out of it quickly if need be
Nice canteen, I want to buy one. Anyone know the name/company?
That was a very good video. The scenery was amazing. That bowie knife should have its own zip code LOL!!!
You gotta do a video on that pig sticker
That's one hell of a knife lol
Ok where's the pony??
Now thats a knife
are these wool blankets your using on a canvas/oilskin base?
Where did you get that knife?
I like the use of the leather belts for securing the bedroll! Thanks for the video!
Edible Mushrooms are great -- especially on the trail. Turkey tail is the easiest to identify.
This guy is no cowboy... he rolled the whole bedroll wrong lol
Could you give us a link to your video showing us how to do it "right". Thanks.
Great video on how to make cordage (including a bowstring) using yucca. Yucca also is great for a fishing line. Thanks Lucky!
Now that, that is a knife.
What a great and practical video on how to make a simple bow. The arrow seemed to shoot straighter than I expected. Looks like you hunted something tasty.
Iam feel so satisfying and more interesting watching and doing this kinds of adventures
what is the flash image at 3:54?
A skull
I love coffee made this way!
Those look yummy. I bet the cake would taste even better with some wild honey.
Hey, I would have collected those things. Those are great to make stuff out of ... such as gorge hooks or spear tips for fishing. Was that an ancient Native American cave in the background?
Yup, that was an old Mogollon cave.
Thank u
You're welcome!
great video series
Glad you enjoy it!
Good kit to have !
THAT WEREN'T NO DESERT! TOO MUCH GREEN YOU KWAZY SUMBEECH! LOL BUT I LIKED THE VIDEO! THANKS FOR SHARING!
lol! Thanks for watching!
Good one. I usually use dead grass.
Love the sabre hybrid
Haha you're a genious! Need to try. That taste was in your mouth all day I suppose lol! Also smart that you heat the glue using body heat. Thank you this will save alot of time. Im gonna experiment making a pine pitcg glue candle, using natural cordage. How ever to reduce it's burning cabability i need to add carcoal and perhaps stone dust/sand. I'll update my progress.
It's actually the old way of making pine pitch glue, much more efficacious than finding a sea shell in the dessert and melting it down, the flavor's not bad once you've gotten used to it and it's good for the dental hygiene. I've heard the same can be done with birch but I've never had the opportunity to experiment with that. I look forward to your candle experiment!
Thanks for the video. What size tarp, and fabric weight, is that? And where did you get it from?
glad you liked it! my tarp is a 10 oz. cotton canvas tarp, 5'x7' from tarpsnow.com, and I waterproofed it with pine tar.
@@apocalypseanarchyadventure4477 Thanks
AMAZING
You found the white-sap oozing out a live pine. And, you found the black-pitch in a naturally burned out pine log and made use of them both. Excellent! I like to use the black pitch for torches and fire starters. But I'm not a fan of using it as gum or teeth cleaner because of the taste. I understand that the stuff is good for a sore throat. Great video as usually. Thank you!
that was actually pine sap and charcoal
Awesome!
What a great video! I've never seen a bushcraft video about constructing some reading glasses but this would come in handy if someone lost or broke their eye-glasses on the trail. Good job. (PS Do I sense a side story?)
Great video, keep going :))
Thanks, will do!
You look like blaze foley! Very cool video. Love the union suit...I've got three. One is 100% wool...
I love all this old-school cowboy stuff, never too old to learn something. Hope you continue making videos.
More to come pretty soon!
