I think I’ll be getting one of these. It’ll be my first gimbal but I think it’s a great value and will last me for years to come. Thanks for the review!
Everything about this video is absolutely fascinating. The places you get to, the lengths you go to, to get there, the gear you use, and this incredible gimbal!!. And you choice of subject material. Magic location, made moreso by it's remote majestic surrounds. You make it look so easy, but it's not. Jake thankyou so much for sharing your passion, knowledge, and 'back yard'.
WOW! After watching more reviews and the Zhiyun tutorials, I DID buy the Weebill 2 and caught it on a special that included the video transmitter (AI)...a $235 savings. Got the base unit, and then added the sling grip handle; the focus/zoom control motor 2.0, and I will buy the Master Eye Visual Controller soon. Absolutely perfect operation with my A7 IV! Totally blown away by the performance and capabilities. I ALSO bought the Crane M3 for my ZV-E10s and only wish that that gimbal had a face tracking capability, but very pleased nonetheless. Now, please STOP making these awesome videos that are causing my wallet to empty! Hmmm...I can always skip a few meals every week....What's next??!! 🤣 Cheers!
The truest part of the title of this video is “…so far”. While reviewers may be given access to multiple gimbals, those who may be able to afford one every year or so really need to have faith in the reviews they’re watching are truly unbiased and not influenced by any hardware vendors.
True and just because a new gimbal comes out onto the market doesn’t mean you need to upgrade or buy it. Pretty much anything that has come out in the past two years is excellent and will work well for most
They are very close but different. I probably need to do a comparison video. I’d say for easiest setup and quickest the RSC2. For most options built in the weebill 2
It sucks that this gimbal is not currently showing compatibility with the A7 M4, OR the ZV-E10's...both of which have become my primary cameras. I sent a msg to Zhiyun asking for clarification, but don't expect an answer even if they are working on firmware. That is disappointing since their current sale on the base model includes the Video Transmitter (AI) in the purchase.
@@JakeSloan I took the shot and ordered the Weebill 2. I see there are some YT vids using the A7 IV, and I 'think' the ZV-E10 can probably be used on a partial basis until the firmware is fully updated. The problem with the E-10 is likely not going to be a priority due to Sony's current halt of production due to chip shortages. There are a LOT...really THOUSANDS...of people waiting to purchase that camera when it is back in production. I love mine for Live Streaming and quick, unplanned B-Roll capture! Thanks for the response!! (off-topic... Glad to see that your former Gov wants to get back into the game! 😁)
I got this message flight altitude restricted log in or go to real-name authentication and the drone only fly 30 Meters high do you know how to fix it please
i got this gimbal but it only charges to 80 percent... is this a problem some people have or is it just me? I've been charging it for 8+ hours and the max is 80 and as soon as I turn the gimbal on it drops to 75.
Hi, I am new to your channel, but will surely stay as you make interesting and hi quality videos, great work. I have a question about this gimbal that I hope you or someone else can take time to answer. Can the DSLR be adjusted on the mount so that it is placed in the nodal point to avoid parallax when shooting panoramas? Also, can the gimbal be set to shoot a panorama, for instance a 3X8 panorama, automatically? I think the hardware should be able to support this on this gimbal.
Having a non removable battery is not an good argument. The weebill s can hold 12h and you can have two set of battery ready to go. The new design is not as good. The removable battery are the best argument of weebill s. If zhiyun creates a weebill s2 with removable battery and stronger lock and motor with more quality body, it would be the best gimbal period. The arms, the weight, the battery, the ease to balance are very good. The weebill 2 is heavier and a bit more difficult to balance, and battery last only 5/6h from real test. It is stronger and better built though.
The mine shafts. Ha ha ha That gimbal looks amazing! I gotta look into getting a one, since I was lucky enough to be given a Lumix FZ300 by a very generous person. #DontFlyAlone

NICE
I think my favorite upgrade to this gimbal is the screen. That's a game-changer for me! Great review, Jake!
Thanks Chris and I agree, at first I thought it was a gimmick but after using it I really really like it

Thank you sir!!!
Great rundown, thank you for sharing. Def going to look into this gimbal.
You’re welcome
The tracking feature is really cool
It really is and works much better than in the past

Great review thank you! Love the way you mix your shots and do it all in the field ! Greatly enjoy your channel
Much appreciated!

I still think that compatibility will be coming

Thanks for the video, I am thinking to get my first gimbal either rs2 or weebill 2, not sure, but what is the quick release base plate you are using ?
It’s made by small rig for the rsc2
how good is the visibility of the weebill's screen shooting outdoors in the sun?
pretty good actually
my weebill 2 arm starts wobbling after a certain angle as if the motor can’t keep up, my camera is compatible i have the d850
Make sure it is really well balanced and also you may need to turn the motor strength down a bit
Wow which is this place brother
This is in the Talkeetna mountains Alaska.
Can we compare with DJI ronin S
I can compare to the RSC 2 but I do not have an S
Ronin s is heavy and old , maybe consider rsc2 or weebill s. Wonder how much improved from weebill s
I got this message
flight altitude restricted log in or go to real-name authentication
and the drone only fly 30 Meters high do you know how to fix it please
You need to create an account and login to it. Also make sure you are not flying in a restricted zone
@@JakeSloan thank you 😊

Wow contact support for sure
Will this work with a Sony a7s 1st generation?
It will stabilize but I’m not sure what features might work with the camera. You can check on their website

You can set the gimbal up as the center point of rotation, I haven't explored if you can do automatic panorama photos to stitch together later yet

That’s awesome!!!
Never knew it existed, desperately need now.
They just released it last week!
I really want to get this one!!!! Let me know if you don’t like it I’ll take it off your hands 😁😁😁
Come pry it out of my cold dead hands 😜😂😂😂. On an unrelated not I may have a DJI rsc2 for sale soon 😉
@@JakeSloan 😂😂😂
My Weebill 2 came yesterday!!!! I am so freaking excited!!!
Zhiyun: make a leftie version
LOL I was thinking about that while filming this review
