My dude Ralph! Haha and I'm tempted to tell you when I am going to make that video by so you can bust my gimballs if I don't make that video on time. LOL
I would like to see Weebill S vs Weebill 2 comparison. Is it bigger than weebil s? Is it heavier than weebill s? . How they look side by side? How is the stabilisation comparison? Should I upgrade from Weebill S or not ?
Thanks for the heads up Se! Istill enjoy my weebil S and ithink iwill stick with for a bit longer. Gets the job done. THe weebil S caused an upset to the competition when it came out. The new Weebil 2 ithink should have waited, but maybe Zhiyun panicked because of the DJI releases. And ihope they dnt stop giving us updates for the weebil S
My issue with Zhiyun was their quality control. My tightening screws ended up stripping on my weebill s and is also happening to one of my friend's weebill's who doesn't even use it as often. And Vu's weebill locking mechanisms broke which was one of the selling points of the weebill in the first place. I just picked up the rsc2 and I think I'll probably stick with it due to customer service availability and better quality control imo.
Hey Anthony! Yeh Weebill S axis lock breaking was a very common issue. I’m glad they addressed that on this new one. RSC2 is great too. You’ll make great use out of it.
@@SePark yeah, it's good to hear that zhiyun has upped their quality. I think for now I'll just give DJI a try since their other products have held up as well. Hoping those like myself who get the new batch of gimbals released this year get at least a few years of use out of them!
Ahh the video I harassed you about. Thanks for the review. It’s good to see a comparison with the weebill s. I want to collaborate with you one of these days. Looks like fun.
Great vid! I was planning to buy the Weebill S last year before covid for just casual travel videography but after travel got shut down, i decided to wait. Is the Weebill 2 what you’d recommend for casual users like myself or is the Weebill S still a good choice given price difference? Or even a dark horse like the new m3?
Thanks Rocco! Yeh I hear you about travel videography. I still use my Weebill S since I love having the extra batteries when traveling. I don't mind the plastic feel since it makes it much lighter than any gimbal in that class. It all depends on your budget. If you can find Weebill S at a really good price, I think there is huge value in that. The "dark horse" haha is a good supplemental gimbal for small cameras but if you plan on using it on a non point and shoot cameras, you're better off on Weebill S. Hope that helps.
Today I received Weebill s and now I will get back because a malfunction it can't keep the horizontal line maybe I think pay the extra money for the new!
I was thinking to purchase this Gimble But the worst con for me is that I am a left hander & Somehow they designed this Gimble for right handers A brand should make a product comfortable for left/right both handers

Haha yes this gimbal deserves a close comparison to RSC2. No promises but I hope I get to make that video. The biggest difference right off the bat is going to be the balance adjustment screws and how it utilizes the screen and the image transmitter. RSC2 adjustment screws get lose over time and the camera can slide around. Weebill 2 image transmitter and the app is not as refined as the DJI RSC2. Both in its smaller gimbal class are very stable. The car rig we used was FilmDevices 145mm vibration isolator. Really strong magnet for a budget price. Thanks for watching and for the comment. Really appreciate it!
you have a great channel very informative but what i need to know and see is if the zhiyum weebill 2 can adjust the motor speed to slow down and smoth out a pan shoot has i tend to do these in my videos and are looking to buy a gimble that is a bove perect at panning up a street or along a river
Hi David, thank you! Weebill 2 has "smoothness", "deadband", and "follow speed" that can be changed per axis. The added benefit of Weebill 2 on these settings are that you can access them very easily through the large touch screen as you customize these to your liking.
Hi Mic, thank you for watching it! Hmm I just tried the coupon code and it worked. Maybe part of the system was down? If you use the official Zhiyun store link below, it should work now. I know the coupon code has the dashes "-" so s-e-park is kinda trippy but hope it works for you!
"Weird question", do you think there's enough room to hold a Fuji X-PRO3 which screen has a 90⁰ downward angle? 7.5cm between the tripod mount and the edge of the screen. You can see pictures online. I wanted to buy the previous Weebil version but couldn't get my hands on one to try the camera on it before buying. Glad I waited.
Haha that's not weird at all. It's a good question. Looking at the pictures online, it may? Since the hinge is on the bottom of the camera, it may clear the motor. There is about 1/3 inch more room on Weebill 2 vs Weebill S on the back side. It will also depend on the lens you put on. If the lens is light, the camera of course will be moved forward. I'm assuming you care because you need to tilt the screen up when you go under sling mode. I can't say for certain without having the exact camera lens setup, but hope that info helps. If you can find a store that has the gimbal, you should try before buying it tho.
@@SePark wait, I need some conversions here, ⅓ inch = 2 cups = 8 stones = 2cm 😂 gotcha. Thanks a lot for the answer, yeah I was also wondering about the weight balance. Fact is the X-PRO3 screen can only be opened at 90° and if it's closed it's basically invisible... Yeah... Illogic design. I took a screenshot from you video where you show your camera on the side. I just need to figure out if it's enough. Thanks again and vice video like always.
Which is better the weebill 2 or the rsc2 ? I keep hearing people complaining about the knobs coming loose on the rsc2 which worry’s me about that gimbal?
They are very similar with specific drawbacks. Yes I have seen RSC2 knobs come lose. It does get in the way of filming when that happens since the camera is no longer balanced all the sudden. RSC2 does fold up smaller than Weebill 2 and has more streamlined image transmitter. Weebill 2 has much better knobs and the flip out screen does make switching mode much more faster and efficient. The image transmitter integration is little more finicky. If you want the image transmitter feature, RSC2. If you are just getting it for the gimbal by itself and don’t care too much about the gimbal folding, then Weebill 2. As Zhiyun updates the firmware on these image transmitter this of course could change. Hope that helps.
Nice review, thanks for sharing. If a person wanted to upgrade from the basic kit,... does the focus motor from for the other Zhiyun gimbals work with this?
I bought my weebill 2 april 2022 used to be fine but now It's Not turning on nor charging a bad Friday for me as tomorrow I have a wedding 💒.such a bad way to end 2022 events.
Just got one and althoght ive heard very good things mine is bricked from start. Won't charge and apparently a lot of peeps are having the same issue. I should do a video on Not To Get This Unit in 2023.
Hi Ali, one thing I learned over past 3 years of making UA-cam video is not to promise anyone a specific video. Okay, I'll make one! 😁 (if anything I do actually want to make my mathematic comparison between the two)
Ok I guess I'll be the first to be "that guy" and mention it really sucks they have followed other manufactures goal of planned obsolescence by getting rid of user replaceable batteries. When the batteries wear out in this it appears you have no choice but to purchase an entirely new gimbal. I'm dubious to any claims that this move provides any advantage other than future sales for the company as the built in batteries die. Obviously this isn't something limited to Zhiyun as a lot of companies are doing this now which not only sucks for the customer but to the environment as well to a certain extent. Nothing against you, Se. You put together a great review! But I think I'll be sticking with my Weebill S.
Hi Gerald! Haha, I was that guy too. I have so many 18650 batteries. That was my problem with DJI RSC2, and now Weebill 2 also. On the up side, I'll never forget to bring a battery but I'll guess I'll find out how long the battery life span is. Weebill S has a special place in my travel bag still.
Which camera model do you have? I just double checked on my A7S III, and face detection is on and is working while connected via PC Remote (USB-C) + HDMI on the transmitter.
@@AlfaMedtech I can tell you according to the camera compatibility chart, A7 III won't work for the camera setting adjustment with Weebill 2. A7C on the other hand, it says it will work via USB-C cable. I don't have that exact camera for me to test, but if you're losing face AF with PC Remote, I don't it's worth the trouble for you plug it into the gimbal. Yes those features are cool to have, but I find all these cables and multiple steps getting in the way of shooting for most shoots. For everyday filming, I think simple is better, but that's just me. :)
@@SePark thank you, it makes sense. I have the weebill S because of you. I don’t think I’ll be upgrading because of the battery and I don’t like the follow focus location. Since I can use my thumb while holding the gimbal. I’ll wait for the 3rd edition to upgrade ! And thanks again! Also with the A7C I can adjust the settings with the weebill S but I’ll need to turn on Pc remote and that disables the face detection for me. Maybe I’ll sell both my a7C and A7III for a A7SIII :(
@@AlfaMedtech Haha now we're talking! Yeh, you won't feel a huge upgrade from Weebill S to Weebill 2, but you'll feel the difference between 8 bit video vs 10 bit with more dynamic range. Of course you'll feel that in your wallet too. LOL.
Very detailed review and didn't feel biased even slightly. BTW I use DJI quick release plate with my Weebill and peak design capture clip and it works fine. I dont think I will upgrade from my Weebill S for now, and probably wait for Weebill 2S ;) Not a fan of a new top handle and I don't like that the overall weight got increased. They need to incorporate carbon fiber like DJI did to keep the weight down.
Thanks Eric! I'm a huge fan of good quick release design. Maybe the next Zhiyun gimbal will be a fusion between RS2 and a remora fish... LOL. Really appreciate your comment and watching this video!

I don’t have a specific one I tried but search for 20W Quick Charger 2.0 or 3.0 on Amazon. Hope that helps 👍🤙
That is a great question. Yeh, for this gimbal, if you are left handed, you'll be left out. (and vice versa. Zhiyun will be left out of left handed customers for this gimbal) 😁
It will come down to what’s important to you. RSC has better app support if you plan on getting the image transmitter. Weebill 2 has better balance adjustment screws and screen to change settings.
@@SePark than sounds like weebill 2 is the better choice I wasn’t looking into the transmitter just a quality build but packable gimbal that has smooth footage for me to learn on..
HI, Thanks, Mr. Park, for your great reviews, as always. I checked with the Zhiyun store and the problem with buying from them is the lack of an extended warranty. These gimbals get lots of wear and tear so an extended warranty makes sense. Do you have a sponsor code for Amazon?
Thanks for that comment! I don't have any discount code for Amazon, but I would recommend caution on Weebill 2 Amazon links. I see lot of the Weebill 2 on Amazon is sold by a third party and not directly from Zhiyun or Amazon. Those are not going to be covered by standard manufacture repair warranty to start with. Far as extended warranty goes, I'm not a huge fan of those Amazon third party extended warranties. Too many horror stories of how they find a way to not qualify you. If you had good luck with those warranties, do share that story too.
Great question! I cut that part because the video got too long. It does go in, however the lever to lock it hits the bottom of the plate so you can’t tighten it all the way super secure. Also because the quick release button gets in the way, if you put a large lens camera, you can’t balance the gimbal properly. In short, it doesn’t fit well. Thanks for asking!
Is the built-in battery replaceable by Zhiyun? Most rechargeable batteries are rated for 500 charges, so if you use it a lot then it might be useless in two or three years. Usually I don't buy anything that doesn't let you replace the battery or at least can be sent back to have it replaces. But I really want one of these, so I might make an exception. Thanks for a great channel. Now I'm *SUBSCRIBED!*
Hi Robert! That's the huge down side of the gimbals like this Weebill 2 and RSC2. Eventually, the batteries will start to degrade. By that time, it will be beyond manufacture warranty and won't be worth the cost of getting it repaired. I think the key would be to not fully charge 100% the days you are not using it. We'll see how the batteries are in one year. Welcome to the channel by the way! Thanks so much!
Looks a great gimbal - but I wouldn't buy one because of the built in battery, and I wouldn't buy the S because of the build quality. Thanks for a very good review Se - positives and negatives 👍
Hey Mark! Replaceable battery would have been so good. They are good at feedback so hopefully they take note. They clearly took note of people asking for a gimbal like DJI. 😆😄👍
The underslung mode gives the operator a hunched posture and makes one prone to back injury. Zhiyun needs to come up with a new gimbal design that is safe for the operators

@@SePark Thanks sp much for the detailed answer!!
Love it. Love you.
So informative!
Thanks Ty! 👍🤜
How much?
It will vary depending on your country. The link for the product is in the description. In the US, it's currently $549
@@SePark thanks...
The underslung mode gives the operator a hunched posture and makes one prone to back injury. Zhiyun needs to come up with a new gimbal design that is safe for the operators
Hey Ben, that was my pain. I do have a solution. I showed it in this video if it helps 😁👍 ua-cam.com/users/shortstr430gWSBWM?feature=share
Is this as smooth as the Crane 2s?
Hi Andre, haha no. Hard to compete with Crane 2S. Crane 2S is insanely smooth.
@@SePark Thank you for all your hard work and great reviews. I enjoy your content and personality.
@@andresce1308 I really appreciate that! I'll keep working hard with intention of helping others! Cheers!
lol at everyone not liking because of the built in battery. 99.9% of you will never use a gimbal past a few hours in a day
I know right????
So according to your recommendation blackmajic pocket 6k owners should stay away , very sad because i really like this gimbal 😢😢
DJI ronin body, masked as a weebill.
So someone gave Zhiyun very direct feedback on what the handle should feel like. 😆
👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
Haha yeh that's about how many times we shot together past one month. 😁🙏
i just don't like focus wheel's position.Never buy it after my weebill S.
Looks nice but mine was DOA out of the box. Not impressed.

Absolutely the worst gimbal I've ever bought. Absolutely horrible design.
