Watching
Stock compression on an LQ4 with 317 heads is 9.56:1 an Lq4 with 706 heads is 10.66:1. Assuming heads are not milled and the factory MLS head gasket is used.
Turbine wheel is maxed out! Nice setup though for a street car, should be quite the handful. If he wants more power he needs a bigger turbo, I'd leave the engine itself alone. Just my 2cnts. Good luck
Loving the content.
That thing is insane
awesome content!!
Thanks at 845 for turning the exposure or w.e. up I'm watching this in my car on lunch break and it's dark. You need a huge huntertuned banner across the garage door so when it's open it hangs down and gives you some shade for the videos. But hell yeah 2 sick rides. I love Ryan's truck even more now.
Dedicated video for Ryan?
@@Wreckedekcoupe yea
Casino time.What a ripper
Love the 78/75 LS content! (Hunter tuned supplied VS 78/75 , Bosch 210, 4.8 L here in my project '50 Chev pickup) Hope to finish up the bodywork end of the project this winter and get it on the road come spring. Looking for good results when i get it to the tuner.
10 minutes ago I said to myself ' I can feel a HUNTERTUNED video coming '
Freaky....
I also think it’s the turbo. You have back pressure data and pre/post turbo temp shouldn’t be hard to see what’s going on in the log.
Bless you Kristine
You said it had a back pressure sensor..... what was back pressure?
Congrats on your shout out from the Boostedboiz. Keep up the great work! When Its time I'm getting my injectors from you.
nice little higher compression 6.0 in the mustang! Then Ryan shows up and pounds out 1000+ in a ford fucking ranger hahahaha
Hi friend, did you finish the video of AZDOME Dash Cam yet?
I need injectors for my DA I'm doing the obd1 swap this week gonna buy those 1000 also I need the caps?
WHEEEEWWW!!!
Seems low for the boost # on a higher compression 6.0. I think the turbo exhaust wheel is just too small for that much displacement, which is why it is much more efficient on a 4.8L. Was it the new 1.25ar t4 or the updated turbine wheel? What did the log say for backpressure or drive ratio? Over 2:1 i bet probably closer to 3-4:1, which is choking it out. Bigger cube LS stuff really can go straight to a T6 turbine 80mm+ . This combo will make a great tire fryer street car though if not looking for ultimate top end drag race power..
first pull only made 460 it should make that n/a
How much would you charge me to tune my twin turbo ls swapped mustang that has a holler terminator x max ecu
Great video! Damn my car looks good on video lol
What transmission are you using?
@@charlieb1653 4l80e
Nice car! Still liking the 7875?
@@travisshaffer1530 i ended upgrading to a 80/88 t6
It’s the turbo…. Think about what you said you made 900+ with your 4.8l. That 6.0 has also much more exhaust flow I ran into the same exact issue on my ls3 that had a 7875 threw that thing away went t4 s475 and what do you know it quit breaking ring lands and blowing exhaust gaskets out I put a back pressure gauge into my manifold right before turbo and that stock ls3 no cam nothing at 15psi of boost was seeing almost 5.0tussin of back pressure it even exploded one of the flex bellows on my crossover
The s475 had larger turbine housing? This housing on this 78/75 is the same 1.25ar
@@HunterTuned correct but look at the actual size of the exhaust wheels and the T4 s475 has a 4 outlet where the 7875 has a 3
What’s holding the motor ?
Turbo’s exhaust side/turbine is maxed out for the 6.0L.
Forgot to mention this is the 1.25ar
@@HunterTuned Not the exhaust housing, the turbine wheel itself is tapped out on the bigger motor.
1st from the UK
I believe it's the turbo but who am I just a random guy ...vs is a great turbo but just from my experience I believe on my fox I'm going to comp oil less for a cleaner look and I know my 2015 coyote made 1k hp at 15lbs with twin 64/67 on E85 so the power is there..just my 2 cent
Notification squaaaaaaad
At first I was convinced it was running out of Turbo cuz most 7875s start dropping off around 19-20psi esp on 6.0.
In this case the ss2 would have worked better cuz its slightly larger.
Honestly I wouldn't complain with that cuz that's good usable power but if he went to a stage 2 or 3 turbo cam, it would easily clear 800.
Hey if he's interested I have a GPI ss2 turbo cam I would sell for good price.
Yea the 78 defiantly works better on a smaller cube motor but still not many people complain with 800 tire hp lol
Funny you say stage 2 turbo cam. That’s exactly what the best cam is. I bought one from Matt.
@HunterTuned I have a question. I have a silverado with a cammed lq4 that I want to turbo. Eventually I want to go 408 with a big cam. I'm only planning to run 15psi on both setups. The question, is there any benefit to running a vsr80mm or bigger vs 7875 at that boost level?
valve overlap...
You can't adjust the target AF based on temp with the Terminator?? Damn that's wack. 30 year old Hondata allows that lol
You can, there are temp offset multiplier tables. You could also make a custom table and change fueling by any other parameter also.
Yea you can you just can’t change target air fuel based on temp
