The bridge in the fog was incredible, the sand dunes by the sea were stunning and the photos of the landscape at the end were absolutely beautiful. A very cinematic area. Thank you Dave.❤

We did enjoy that area. But like a lot of other places we had to move on after just one night.
Next time we will travel less and stay longer!

Hi Guiseppe - thanks very much
Yes, it’s an incredible country. We had an amazing tour - the Isle of Mull and Ardnamurchan being the highlights for wildlife.
So much beauty in that area.
      Have a lovely Sunday 👍👍👍

Whats not to love Dave and Sue? I really enjoyed doing a spot of wildlife watching with you both through your lens. Incredible footage of the Eiders in the sea!! So special. This was beautiful

Thanks so much Alessa. We had an incredible road trip to Scotland. But one of the things we learned was to not travel so much and stay longer at some sites. One night wasn’t enough here!! It was gorgeous.
The Eiders are wonderful aren’t they. Managed to get some great close up film in Northumberland the next day
Have a lovely Sunday you two

Wowsers! What a stunning part of the world this is! Such an abundance of wildlife! It is always such a special experience seeing a deer up close ❤ 🦌. The beaches were out of this world, the colour of that sand! Feel very chilled after watching this, thanks for taking us along Dave and Sue, over the border next!

And loved seeing the wildlife and the deer was the closest I’ve ever been to one! Really love Roe Deer. They’re so pretty.
Definitely a site to return to!!

Oh gosh - that was maybe our favourite CAMC site. We find them a bit regimented but that was relaxed and a stunning location!
That Roe Deer was just so close! But I knew that as soon as I raised the camera he would be gone! And he was!! 😃

Good morning a lovely scenic ride. I heard you say Yellow (then was it Crane) beach? A lovely spot. Being at the ocean refuels me. We have Common Eiders too. The ledges are stunning and a nice habitat for the birds. Lovely to see the Tern and Gannets. I know that feeling going in woods and seeing a deer or other animals and they bolt. A special memory for you. Have a great day. Brenda

      @NBNatureTrailvan  Місяць тому

This was Yellowcraig beach Brenda. It’s quite close to North Berwick which is East of Edinburgh.
There is a huge rock called Bass Rock. It’s an incredible seabird colony and hopefully I got a very long shot of it - would have loved to visit on a boat!
Those woods were really special. So quiet in the early morning. I literally stood for what seemed about five minutes staring at the Roebuck with him staring back. About 10 yards away. He was just deciding what to do.
I finally tried to lift my camera but - zap - he was gone in a flash!
Wonderful moments though. Won’t forget it

I had no idea we had gotten so far behind on videos trying to prep and getting ready for the girls to come, and then the almost 3 weeks they were here. It may take us a little while, but we will get caught up. 😂😂. Love the beach and sand dunes. Reminds us of Port Aransas and other beaches we’ve visited. It’s a much larger beach width though. Beautiful shots of the wildlife as usual.

Sounds like you guys had a blast with the family. It’s just the best of times isn’t it. I expect the Grandkids are keeping you going 😃😃.
Hope Scout Ridge is doing well - don’t work too hard over there - enjoy the rest of the Summer. Ours has been the wettest we’ve known so far!
Yes, our Scottish trip was really memorable, we’re planning to go back late Autumn fingers crossed. Europe next though.
We’re trying not to slow down 😃😃

Thanks guys - That’s very kind of you.
We really loved Yellowcraig, the site is so well set out. Small areas with just a few vans all surrounded by gorde or trees. And a very short wander to the beach through some beautiful old woodland. Amazing views along that coastline. We found out that the Roe Deer are really common there. Two or three always around the site early morning or evening.
And we really should have planned the tour with less stops but longer at each one
      Learned a lot 👍👍😃

I hate those narrow roads in my car never mind a motorhome, I would be a bundle of nerves lol. Those sites do look amazing mind, spotlessly clean and brilliant wildlife. To be fair if you did have to do a 6 mile round walking trip, what an amazing place to do it in, that beach was fantastic. Funny enough my son and his family will be driving passed Bamburgh castle about now, on the way to Seahouses for the weekend, stopping in a caravan there. Cheers Alan

Seahouses is just the best place ever Alan mate - we love the Olde Ship and if he's into his beer then you probably already know about Blonde Star from Anarchy Brew Co. Just the best! 😃😃
That was a lovely site at Yellowcraig, another one for the future list 👍👍

The variety of campsites you've visited is really amazing. Loved the dunes on the shore. It's a shame about the bird flu. It looks like a great area for birdwatching - loved the eiders bobbing up and down on the waves and the gannet soaring along. Sounds like an awesome moment with the Roe deer nearby. The distant shots of the bird colony were impressive. I would love to visit this area.

We would love to go back Donna. Not been there before so it was a great discovery.
Watching the birdlife along the shoreline was brilliant. The Eiders are such beautiful birds. I managed to get a couple of close ups when we moved down the coast back into England on the next vid.
Have a good week ahead and apologies for late reply Donna.

Ah yes that was Bamburgh Phil. That Castle takes you right great away from all angles!
Yellowcraigvwas a stunning place. Loved seeing all the seabird species (a long lifetime of learning them mate 😃), and the view to Bass Rock was incredible. Apparently you can get boat trips out there but as always on this trip we ran out of time!
      But wonderful to see it
Thanks for your lovely comment Phil. Hope you’re having a decent week so far 👍👍👍

Lovely part of the world Dave and you arrived to decent weather. Bird Flu is an issue here, in parts, too, though some places seem to have escaped it. The seabird colony on Bass Rock is incredible. You've had quite an adventure! Best wishes, Rob

Just back from a trip and missing Lochindorb already. The Common Gulls and Black Headed Gulls have been hit badly by something in the last few months but it seems more predator related than Bird Flu. Was great catching the solstice but I was not going to fly at midnight LOL
