Hello from Rolleston New Zealand. I am a regular viewer of your videos. We have a caravan, and I do fit a tow cover every time we are traveling. Therefore, I strongly recommend using one. It protects the windows from stone damage, and when you arrive on site and remove it, you have nice clean front windows. It only takes me about 10 minutes to put it on and 5 minutes to remove it. The cost of it is a lot cheaper than repairing or replacing the windows. Hope this is helpful. David Bellamy.

Was on the same pitch as you on my last visit in May when we were there for the Swift Elegance/Bessacarr owners meet up. Second year we have met there using the fantastic beech as our break out area.
Awning looks good on the new van we have a front cover good protection from bugs & road splashing gotta think how much that huge front window would cost to repair a stone chip little hay ho looked to be enjoying the beach and kite flying happy days
Hi, thank you for the video. We would say towing covers are a must!! Keeping the dirt & grime off is one thing but the main benefit is protecting the front windows from stone chips. Won't stop any rocks flying your way on the roads but will protect against stones flying up at them. The cost is not so great when you think of the hassle of fixing the windows, not to mention the cost then on an older van if they are even available! Not a problem for yourselves though with your lovely new van!! Take care!!
Yeah, I’m getting loads of people recommending towing covers. We wonder where to put them when you get to site and they are all wet and dirty though. Just in the boot?
@@heyholetstow Yes that is what we do, as dry as you can get it. Fold the inside on its self to keep the grit etc. Off the inside, also make sure that the inside surface is clean before you put it back on! If it isn't it will scratch the windows you are trying to protect!!
@@davidlewins4631 that would be terrible if the thing you bought to protect your caravan ended up damaging it! 😮 are they really as easy to put on as people say?
We have a universal one which putting on for the first time as you need to 'set' all the straps to the right length but the second time onwards is simple.
Get yourself a towing cover because just out of safety if a stone came up and cracked your window your looking at roughly a £1000 for that front window, ther worth getting prob best from tow pro come down to Warmer south and enjoy a holiday down ther I’m from the south (Plymouth) and always go Cornwall Newquay etc for our caravan holidays
We have a tow cover from specialised covers. Great investment really easy to put on. Totally recommend 👍
We are going to look at covers when we go to the NEC in October. The Specialised ones look top of the range. Very nice.

We bought one from go,outdoors £45 with discount card shouldbe £108 excellent investment
