Damn, that SG's tone and sound is freakin' KILLER!!! I'm a 65 yr. old guitarist, still playing hard & heavy jams live on weekends in local clubs and when I crank this up at my pad my neighbors get to enjoy it too! Lol! What the Hell, 450 thumbs down?? That = 450 LOSERS! And one more thing: R.I.P. Eddie. You were greatness personified!
Seen them open up for Sepultura and Pantera on July 19th 1994 at the San Diego Sports Arena. I’ve been a fan ever since! 🤘🏽I was 22 at the time and I’m 48 today! Still kicks ass!
Watching this on the 90s I was always amazed how good everything sounds in this live performance. Amazing guitar sound and so good to be able to hear it with good headphones now.
Nathan Strickland Damn! Same here! 😂 Saw them live in early 93 I believe, with Big Chief as the opening band. I remember crowd surfing, security helped catch me for the third time, between the barrier and stage. Started trying to mosh with them and was promptly kicked out! Good times!
The 90s were epic.for shows. We opened up for Tree, downset, sam black church, quicksand, etown concrete, stompbox, hatebreed, diecast and a bunch more
I saw Prong in 1994 when they had the keyboard player. I like in the beginning of this video, you here the guitar riff, but no guitar was being played. That was a sample loop. Cool way to use a sampler back then.
i'm on my mid 40's now. when i look at these great bands we had for our 20's, and god knows Prong is one of them, i feel we were privilegied kids. Discussing around beers with friends, we all know it. Those were the days!

Tommy’s like the epitome of the non-pretentious, truly bad ass, rockstar, and the tone is coming out of that SG is just unbeatable!! And it looks so sexy too! Best metal guitar out there
no shit, i saw them in denver 20 years ago and it was chaos. the pit used to be part of the show, you jump in and swim and feel the aggression. my friend broke his nose in the pit and that was seen as "hardcore", now if that happened there would be lawsuits. Im glad i grew up when i did.
They were moved. They just knew how to keep their cool. People that mosh are just steroid aggressive Neanderthals that don't appreciate the music. They just hear it as noise and gotta slam into each other like a bunch of idiots.
Maybe it's like a deer in headlights kinda thing. They where just blown away from that tone! I mean that bass & the distortion on that guitar sounds epic!
Because its boring as shit. I remember when this was new and played nonstop on MTV. Believe it or not millenials, MTV used to be all about music. Anyway, Prong and this song in particular were and still are a mystery to me as to why so many people love them so. Boring, slow, nice groove but totally uninteresting music that does nothing for me. But thats only my opinion, . Listen to what you like and fuck what others say.
I'm 57 and I got hip to Prong back when Beg to Differ came out. So underrated! Should have really blown up. I got about six of their songs in heavy rotation and they have their own playlist on my phone.
The American version of Killing Joke. Thanks for all the great music TOMMY! I remember seeing them in a dive bar in Clinton IA for about 50 peeps having the time of their lives! early 90's ! cheers!

I just recently saw Sepultura a few months ago and now I'm going to see Prong this weekend here in Dallas
bought me and everyone at bar a beer back in 92 when they opened for for Flotsam and Jetsom and drank with us. Tommy is a hell of a nice guy and real.
Truly one of most underrated bands ever. Tommy’s guitar tone is so thick and awesome 😎
Agree, Dimebag was riff genius, but Tommy’s riffs are much catchier and more fun!
I just recently picked up a Marshall 8100 amplifier head. It’s what Tommy used in the early stuff before he went over to kemper.
