I am diabetic for last 30 years. My average weight is always around 66kgs only. I am a vegetarian and strictly follow my diet. I do undergo regular tests and try control my sugar level. Now i am on insulin too. Still unable to bring my hb1ac below 7. Though i hear to lot such videos by doctors till date not got right guidance to control it. Intermittent fasting is tough as i get hungry quickly. The other major factor is control of blood pressure and collastrol.
I have reduced my hba1c from 6.8 to 5.7 within 2 months by cut down the carbs little and increased veggies in my diet and daily walking after dinner (dinner time 7:30 ) & doing yoga. These are all helps me to reduce my hba1c
Thanks Dr. My HBA1C is 6.7 and on Metformin dose everyday / IT job/ fighting hard to bring < 6 . Time to exercise is a luxury and to make it happen , still Your tips on better understanding of HbA1c is very useful.

Change your life style . Walk 4km minimum avoid food with high carbs. Eat balanced diet carbs plus protein plus fiber rich veg and fruits .leave tension. I had 12 hiabc in 2017. Drink more water 8. Cut rice or carbohydrates in dinner 9. More protein foods and veggies 10. Continuously track all the 9 items above. Follow this , you will reduce in 1 year
Once in Three months old blood cells are lost and new blood cells produced. But the body which calander it is following. Say like 1 st jan , 1 st apr and so on . On which day i have to do test. Pl. Let me know in a day homay new blood cells are produced. Hope i think every day it is happening.

Your HBA1C values may not have changed much but your insulin resistance would have decreased by leaps and bounds offering your immense benefits
Some how importance is not placed in quantifying insulin resistance and working towards reducing them and keeping it at the lowest level possible.

You are right. Every day this is going on... any day you can test - to know the past 30 days average glucose level
I'm not sure if you said about Vit D. I guess it's a important supplement needed for Diabetes.
