I just went to this gym and talked with an employee about this video! He said that they are now the TOP RATED gym with many many reviews on Google, but there has been no increase in visitors lol. They also showed me the paper Magnus signed. It was taped to the wall in a plastic paper protector. It was such a pleasant visit and the people are all so friendly there!
This gym genuinely made me smile. Their excitement of him being the first to finish the one route. :,) it's more like a climbing club than a typical "gym"
I've lived in Japan for a few years and have gone to a small climbing gym with a similar vibe to this one. It's a really positive atmosphere where everyone is cheering each other on, giving fist bumps after finishing problems etc. It's kind of a cultural thing.
@@gaaraheater44 the other names were the route setters though. the guy says to him 'first send' when he hands him the paper and the 'Send' section have no name on them
Yeah I went to a tiny gym in Mississippi when I lived there a couple years. Similar vibe and it was always the same tiny group of 'regulars', definitely had a club feel
When Magnus said "I feel like when climbers watch you it's encouraging, because they don't want you to fail they want you to succeed" I just remembered climbing years ago with supportive wonderful friends and strangers. It's true. Climbing is collaborative and supportive, it's why it's such a great sport.
That is so true. It was one of the things I really liked, when I first started climbing. I was way into BMX (very similar to the Skate scene) back then, and I instantly felt at home, because it is very similar in that regard. People are stoked if you do something that is hard, for you. Doesn't matter whether it is easy or hard for them. You are pushing each other, because the only true fight is with yourself and the wall/trick.
Wow, that totally puts a different perspective on it. I used to avoid bouldering at my local gym because i felt like I was on stage and I get stage frught similar to the girl in this video. I have just recently decided to give bouldering another chance, I'm totally getting that collaborative and Supportive vibe, and really enjoying the change from sport climbing
Yeah, I really love that, because I feel nervous about people watching me on the wall sometimes, but then whenever I'm watching anyone else I'm willing them to succeed! So a reminder not to assume the worst, for sure!
It became almost instantly obvious that the low rating was because the gym has hard boulder problems and isn't catering for the new climbers, its tailored for the strong climbers.
Exactly, this place was probably rated low because it's a gym for "real" climbers, not just for the casual climbers that go climbing for a workout instead of going to a regular gym. Nothing wrong with that of course, but there is a real difference in who they are trying to attract. I could also see how the wall covered with grips on every available surface might be an issue for a lot of novice climbers, but that is not really who this place is for.
Probably not exclusively because it has hard problems - I'm relatively experienced, but mentally I still struggle with 'spray walls' - trying to plot routes myself or spot holds among many other holds. It could definitely result in a negative review from a person, but all it takes me perseverance and taking the time to learn the gym/route style.
I’m not a beginner but I know I probably wouldn’t pick a gym like this because I get overwhelmed visually very easily. Seeing all the holds together in one place combined with the different color tape everywhere would just be super overwhelming for me. It would still be good to try but probably not something I’d do on a regular basis.
Yeah, a swimming pool near me had like a dictator for a owner, and both the staff and the people swimming hated her guts. I couldn't do any advanced tricks, but now I can. Now that's she's gone. The pool couldn't be more lively. And the ratings definitely went up.
@@jonttu8848 Please, don't say that, bc it's foolish to assume the gym is cool because of the video. Japanese people gave them a poor review bc it doesn't fit their needs, the gym is supposed to satisfy japanese people, not a foreigner.
Fagner F Souza Other people were saying the rating was from a rude worker that had been fired long before this video was shot, so it wasn’t representative of their business anymore
This really feels like the love-child of a long-time climber. Feels very cozy and welcoming :) Bad rates are probably from beginners who went there, didn't understand the system and couldn't climb anything so they thought it's bad
actually most of them complained about the staff being unfriendly and not even saying "hello" or ""goodbye". As for the routes, they either said it's too hard for newbies, too easy or "fun".
Let's be honest... that place was NOT cosy. It looked cheap and rusty. Now, that doesn't mean you won't get a good workout out of it, but I can definitely see why that would be a put-off for many people. It would be for me, for one.
@@maxkho00 depends on what you consider cozy, for some the rustic, spartan look feels a lot more comfortable than the sheen you'd get at more commercial gyms, but you can bet those people are NOT anywhere near being beginners
@@maxkho00 it feels very cozy for me, if you think that a "planet fitness" style place is cozy thats on you but this feels very much like home to me, a simple place with everything you need.
This is honestly one of my favorite videos on youtube. This organic story out of a stupid idea on top of smooth editing and great content. Keep it up Magnus.
yea, he's totally oblivious that these guys aren't "helping" him they are fascinated at how good he is. I'm sure this small gym has never had a pro climber in it before. (not saying they aren't nice, Magnus just doesn't get that he's a monster)
The laser pointing holds is actually a great idea. This feels more like a climbing club than a full gym. It's the kind of place i love to find traveling. I live to find native hangouts over the touristy spots. Great video
Translation for what they said in the background at 16:40 : „Is he for real?!...“ „Incredible!“ „He is REALLY strong.“ Perfectly sums up every persons reaction to magnus‘ climbing :D
I havent seen the video from when started it, but from what I gather, The reason behind the game is to forego "Ego". By eliminating the word "mine" especially in a group/work setting, it shows less possessiveness and egocentric tendencies. So, I dont believe that is "stupid". I believe a true man is someone who is comfortable in removing his ego in situations especially group projects where you may want to monopolize the idea/project etc and allow everyone to have input.
So... I'm moving to Tokyo to be with my SO in January. Just looked up this climbing gym out of curiosity. 20 min walk from her apartment. I think I'll be making a visit soon! Edit: Just came back from my visit! Yeah, it's super small, but the staff who helped me seemed super friendly, and the routes were fun! I'm a relatively beginner climber so I couldn't get beyond blue grade, but it was worth it.
@@FilmColossus No I moved from the UK to Japan in mid January. Living in Japan has been great so far. Only concern is with money so far, since I haven't found work yet. Other than that, if given the choice, I'd live here much longer than the year on my visa. Super clean, super efficient public transport, and the food is amazing. As far as climbing goes, I've had some time to explore more gyms in Tokyo, and I have to say Quail is much further down the list now. It's not a bad gym, but definitely not the best. On my way to B Pump Akihabara now which is definitely the best I've found. 4 floors of decently sized walls, and a rooftop boulder to top it off. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone interested in climbing in Tokyo
This is exactly why people need to judge for themselves instead of going off of others' opinions. you never know! Seems like a great atmosphere at that small cozy gym.
i was a n internationally competitive fencer and an olympic hopeful. my fencing club was in a small warehouse ina shady looking area, but we had olympic coaches, and many many top end competitors for the different weapons. The smaller less flashy places are the ones that put their heart into what they do, and not blow club funds on a look.
MechantPoulet it certainly is. I’ve been to japan quite a lot and it really is at first but everyone is so nice and friendly you get used to it. I did feel a rubbish climber afterwards though haha
This just seems like a super old school climbing gym (essentially someone's garage like they used to be) that has none of the fluff. You'll meet your best friends at places like that.
I've watched this a few times now. Such a great feel to the whole video; the enjoyment the locals are getting from seeing someone take on all these challenging boulders; the dedication to improving their climbing; the lack of bass-heavy music in the background; and Magnus' enjoyment of the whole experience. Super wholesome Magnus!
Magnus, you could do a whole series visiting random gyms throughout the world and it wouldn't get boring. The gym I go to is sort of loved/hated because despite being the cheapest gym, it's kinda old and their V0s are V1s-V3s in other gyms, so usually beginners get discouraged. Also the level of the climbers is pretty decent and they won't spray beta, so it feels really awkward the first couple of times. I didn't know about this and I just thought "I'm a beginner, falling is just a part of the process" so I just kept going. After a couple of sessions I remember when I nailed my first boulder the locals whom I hadn't spoken to actually cheered and fist bumped me. They had been watching and I became kinda like "the newbie". After that, the vibe was pretty much like the one in this vid regardless of my level, lots of friendliness and support. It's a friendly community, all I had to do was showing commitment.
this is like the HARDCORE climber's home, like literally you can feel ppl come here train their ass off with sweat and blood, working with some rediculously hard problems, that's also why I love and so appreciate the feeling of spray wall so much, it's humble but rock solid for you to improve, and ppl in these kind of climbing gyms are much much more friendly and genuine than the big commercial gyms
Considering I was fortunate enough to catch a video this early, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos. Always brilliantly edited, great music and just great fun. It was actually largely because of you that I started climbing a year ago. You're a really genuine, likeable, and talented guy- I'll be continuing to watch and support you
I can definitly understand why its rated so bad. I don't climb but watch your videos a lot. To have so many of these routes clamped together is just very hard to understand the lines. But I can also relate to the climbing geeks running this gym who are so sofisticated with their passion and their limited space. Im glad you guys enjoyed this gym!
I'm not super familiar with different climbing styles, but if I'm correct it's the Japanese bouldering style to set a lot of problems within tight spaces of each other, but I don't disagree about trying to search for holds and such if you aren't familiar with it
It's mostly the color grading system for me. Not exactly difficult but you have to look at it longer than you would at any other place. It would help a lot if they made the holds the same color as the grades
I can definitly understand why its rated so bad. I don't climb but watch your videos a lot. To have so many of these routes clamped together is just very hard to understand the lines. @@squidwardo7074 All of that brings additional cost though. Tape is quite cheap and just using the same 300-400 odd boulder holds that they probably have is huge in terms of price efficiency rather than having to put sets of similarly colored holds together.
Loved how he was first to top that route, flashed it at that!! Couldnt you hear the excitement in dudes voice when he nailed those holds?!! Pure joy! Was almost like an autograph at the end.😁 Love it!! Genuinely made me smile that was so heart warming for some reason!
Non-climbers can never fully appreciate the difficulty in mastering technical or challenging climbs. But to us mere mortals watching Masters of stone like Magnus its as spellbinding as it is inspirational...
I love that about this gym, that the first ascents for different routes are recorded like that. It makes it feel special and even more like a community. What an incredible job they’ve done with such limited space
Possibly it's a niche gym? There aren't many jugs from the look of things. Just a proper climbers gym (if you know what I mean): boards, over hang, campus rung, hang board. Done.
People expect a lot more from a gym here, more like a "club" in terms of price & expectation. This is clearly a climber's gym, so maybe a bit intimidating for a novice. Also for rating, it's less inflated, so 3 is as expected/average, 4 is really good, and 5 usually means not many ratings.
Saddie it can be daunting at first. But it has great carryover for when you start climbing outside where there are no uniform colored holds to spot. Like Magnus said, it’s also great for improving climber memory.
This summarizes my experience with climbing in Tokyo, just love so much more small local gyms! They are the place to make friends and enjoy climbing with others. Bigger gyms like B-pump or T-wall are cool and well equipped, but people are rarely that friendly. Also, I find that even if they don't have a hard enough grade for you officially, they often have some made-up problems that people are working on that are above the maximum grade of the gym. Writing this comment and getting ready to go to my local gym!
Yep, I've been to several gyms in Japan, not a single bad experience. Super welcoming community at the climbing gyms here. My local has weekly problems at different grades the put together and you write your name on the list if you complete it.
I love the happy ending. It’s symbolic in that you never know how fate will play out. One day you’re the worst ranked gym in the entire massive city because you’re misunderstood and the next you’ve suddenly got the endorsement of one of the best climbers alive.
I mean, how sweet these guys in this gym are? Amazing experience. Goes a great way to show what "low quality" means in a society accustomed to impeccable quality. Wow.
That's usually what I find, when I chat with others in the gyms I go to. People are friendly and helpful. If this one beta doesn't work, hey, what if you try this instead. Love it.
I mean, they were very sweet. I wouldn't chalk it up to Japanese culture of quality though. Do you think Japanese people are incapable of being rude or running shoddy operations? I'm more inclined to call it climbing culture, which in my experience all around the world is friendly and inclusive.
@@DanKaschel Japanese people have respect ingrained in their very culture tho. So the majority are very respectful, and a lot of them are just genuinely kind friendly people
Taking this video at face value, it was great! I like how it shows that sports and athletics can unite people and cultures even if there is a language barrier we can still communicate through our fav sports.
"I think when climbers watching it's encouraging, it feels like they don't want you to fail, they want you to succeed." This might be my favorite sentence about bouldering now 😀😌

the gym looked really good but i can understand why the rating was only 2.8 stars: usually gyms like these cater to a very specific niche of people and can be intimidating to people who are unfamiliar to a certain sport. Many will try a more beginner friendly gym or "commercial" gym and hold that as a standard, while in reality in gyms like these there are greater possibilities for emerging athletes and people who really want to get into the sport.
It looks like a pretty small DIY kind of place for a dedicated audience, Magnus falls within that audience so it's an amazing gym for him. But imagine walking into that gym as a beginner not having a clue how the system works and having to get used to everything, it's probably very confusing and not very fun.
Yeah, as an olympic weightlifter a 5 star gym to me would look like a dump with barely any equipment to someone who's used to flashy commercial gyms. Good quality basics is what matters to people who actually care, whereas people who aren't very serious are more concerned with the extras that don't matter.
It would probably make sense for the gym to advertise itself as being for the niche audience it actually caters to to avoid the low ratings from casual climbers. They probably get new members more from word of mouth than people searching online though. Magnus should have left a review that specified the gym served him well as a "professional" climber.
Agreed. I started climbing in a commercial gym a couple years back near my college. A few months after I started I went back home and tried out a local gym there which was pretty similar to this video's gym: non-commercial with polished holds, and sandbagged ratings. Didn't really like it. Now I'm a much more experienced and stronger climber and feel that my commercial gym I still go to is lacking in the higher grades at times and I'm always itching to go back to my gym near home. It really depends on where you are in your climbing experience.
Finding this two years later and I am so glad I did, because this just put a huge smile on my face. Super wholesome attitude. We need more of this on UA-cam! Thanks Magnus!
I have been only been bouldering for 3 weeks now and this video made me feel so much more comfortable knowing there are really nice people in the community that will help you on problems and techniques. Of course as well thank you magnus and marte you have been driving my crave to get better and indulge into climbing❤
Damn, this gym has that hardcore underground anime atmosphere, where you know, secretly, all the best climbers gather, hang out, have some secret tracks, everything looks very esoteric and lived-in. Looks like Magnus for a moment, was part of a plot of slice of life anime about climbers (Episode 5 - A mysterious master appears). I love it.

Yeah, I really love that, because I feel nervous about people watching me on the wall sometimes, but then whenever I'm watching anyone else I'm willing them to succeed! So a reminder not to assume the worst, for sure!
It looks like those Japanese movie plots, where the smaller temple turns out to have an amazing master that will teach you the real secrets haha
Isn´t it more like a chinese thing?
Probably hahaha
It’s almost all movie plot bruh
That sounds vaguely familiar but I cannot recall a single instance of actually seeing this.
That's just karate kid lol
It became almost instantly obvious that the low rating was because the gym has hard boulder problems and isn't catering for the new climbers, its tailored for the strong climbers.
Exactly, this place was probably rated low because it's a gym for "real" climbers, not just for the casual climbers that go climbing for a workout instead of going to a regular gym. Nothing wrong with that of course, but there is a real difference in who they are trying to attract.
I could also see how the wall covered with grips on every available surface might be an issue for a lot of novice climbers, but that is not really who this place is for.
@@MorpH2k It's probably in part because of space limitations.
Maybe the stickers system might be confusing and less welcoming at 1st for beginners, that already trying to figure out how everything goes/works.

Appreciate the update. How’s living in Tokyo been overall? Were you already in Japan?

Yea I understand too, as a beginner I don't really want to search where I can or can't take support, I just want to go and climb!

@@squidwardo7074 All of that brings additional cost though. Tape is quite cheap and just using the same 300-400 odd boulder holds that they probably have is huge in terms of price efficiency rather than having to put sets of similarly colored holds together.

There's a real sense of community and culture at that gym, cant understand the low ratings!
Possibly it's a niche gym? There aren't many jugs from the look of things. Just a proper climbers gym (if you know what I mean): boards, over hang, campus rung, hang board. Done.
hyau23 yeah as a newbie I completely see how that would be disappointing.
The walls look so congested. Following taped routes in a congested wall like that doesn't seem too fun
You can tell magnus was genuinely having a blast - refreshing content despite an "unoriginal" concept!
I agree. It's also refreshing that he mentioned that it isn't an original idea at the start. He is way too humble
Honestly don't know how Marte can be even more down to earth and fun than you Magnus. You guys make my day.
I love the happy ending. It’s symbolic in that you never know how fate will play out. One day you’re the worst ranked gym in the entire massive city because you’re misunderstood and the next you’ve suddenly got the endorsement of one of the best climbers alive.
Aww it’s nice that they have a first ascent logbook. Such personal touch!
So the majority are very respectful, and a lot of them are just genuinely kind friendly people

the gym looked really good but i can understand why the rating was only 2.8 stars: usually gyms like these cater to a very specific niche of people and can be intimidating to people who are unfamiliar to a certain sport.
Well I’d not see a reason to visit and rate it so low? Seems a bit rude just because it caters for a higher standard of climber .

Great vid. Super awesome of you to help them out like that. At the end you talked about subscribing, and it made me look to realize I wasn't, even though I've watched a good amount of videos you're in, well subbed now. Take care.
I traveled in Japan in March 2019 and this helpfulness and friendliness is universal. Japanese people put so much effort into excellence that it is humbling to be there as a visitor. Shows how much we can learn
I didn't experience it on my own but I heard multiple times that Jaoan is a very racist country. Just saying that nobody is perfect.
@@Toopa88 I'd advice basing your opinions of other people to be based on personal experience, unless you are not much different than the racists yourself
@@patriark its an historical fact that Japan in Asia has a recent past of invasions throughtout surrouding countries and a feeling of superiority among these. Dont know how it lasts nowadays, but as an european I dont think u can tell about this topic lol (at least by your personal expierences)
I live in Japan and have never had a racist incident. I have heard of one or two, but no matter where you go, you'll always find idiots if you look hard enough. In Japan, you'll have to look really hard, or behave like an idiot yourself.
Japanese will be extremely grateful for even the smallest adaptions on the side of visitors, so learn a few phrases (hello, thank you etc) of Japanese, look up a few of the culture pitfalls (don't stick chopsticks upright in rice bowls) and you'll have a wonderful time.
Most of all: visit and make up your own mind!
@@jbosko95 that is indeed true. Then again, so do the Chinese recently and, if you look closely enough, you will find dirt on the hands of most civilizations. Let's overcome that by visiting each other's countries more!
18:22 Man this climb was just insane. It’s the moves Magnus does that just blow my mind every time.
I really liked this video. The music wasn't loud, the level of your voices was perfect, so the audio didn't clip at all, the commentary was nice, so the conversations was relaxing to listen to. I was impressed by how the gym record their statistics and they had you sign after you completed the climb, now that is customer satisfaction. It makes you feel like, part of something, very supportive. That should make anybody feel like going back to that gym
16:48 「マジ出来てる。。。。すげ。。。」 (maji dekiteru... suge) Unbelievably, he's doing it... amazing....
Girl: What’s the worst thing that could happen? Break your fingers, lol.
Magnus: Yes...
Imagine having a twister board to choose your next hold.
Right foot blue.
Left hand yellow.
Etc.
A climbers favourite party game..
Omg that sounds like such a cool game I wanna play it!!!
We have competitions like this at my gyms spray wall.
The climbing community is so friendly in my opinion, this a perfect example
Way better than the cycling community that's for sure. Seeing the attitude of climbers and their passion has turned me towards them now, LOVE climbing with a massive passion.
Marte is getting so good at climbing she catches on so quick. 🧗🏻♀️. You guys are great together I hope you two do videos with juji and Tom soon.
Wholesome
Please
Yeah, do that.
Justin Collins I was just thinking the same, really nice to see them climbing together and totally relatable getting snippets of Magnus mitbo micro beta for a normal climber
I watched this video when it first came out. Then about a year later. And finally again today. And that damn problem he got the FA on looks more insane every single time. I assume it is because I've myself become stronger last years, so that move(that bump up while other hand is low in undercling) has become more relatable for me over time, as at first it seemed to hard to even comprehend. But by now it looks just like pure insane madness that move :D
This is such a heartwarming video, the vibes off this gym was incredible and the way the locals were in awe of how good Magnus is at climbing. And kudos to you guys as well for being pure individuals!
Thanks for this !

You just made a move that they've never seen anyone make! You were likely the best climber they've ever had in there. Must've been cool/fun to have the crowd
You are just ignorant
@@Matonias ??
@@Matonias How? He made a flash first ascent of the hardest route at the gym. Magnus is also one of the few people in the world that can climb 5.15b... it is very probable that he was the best climber that ever visited the gym.
That was so sick
He's literally a professional (well retired professional) at the time of that video they were the wrost rated gym so i doubt they had ever had anything that experienced of a climber go in
That grunt at 14:19 ^^
Everyone in this video is incredibly nice, friendly and kind. What a great example of how things can be
when you couldnt find that one hole for your feel and he ran up to show you. some ppl might find that annoying but i think its nice/sweet lol
The beginning music is a mood I'd like to hear daily without headphones or the music coming out of my phone. It feels like it makes life a bit more special 00:48
Oh yeah yeah
This is a real climbers- climbers hall rated by people that like to rate things on the internet instead of climbing....
I can imagine how Magnus and his girl must of looked camera filming each other and talking a foreign language. Bunch of weirdos! What are they even doing? And then Magnus climbs..... oh ok. Hes a pretty good climber. 😂
The irony is that after this video almost all the reviews are from people who have never even climbed there
Or rated by noobs who don't know the old system and are too confident to ask for help. Or just see that it's in the suburbs of a big city and think it's small and sparse, not even going there.
A gym where you can to first ascents?? How fucking great is this? Fuck the rating.
@@artisdying indeed something to achieve ^^
Guys looked like they were having a great time watching Magnus.
I mean, wouldn't you?
@@lennertlaevaert8711 I wish.
I think it's the same in any gym. Whenever someone REALLY good starts crushing hard boulders, everyone is staring. I know I would!
Well so are we :p
@@lennertlaevaert8711 That's why we're all here, right?
Your presence was a big upgrade for the gym.. who will not be nice to such an amazing & wonderful couple.
Both of you win their hearts with your warmth & friendliness.. and of course with expert climbing skills.
I really admire you both❤️
Awesome video, So great to see the record set straight on that fine gym
My favorite MM vlog yet.
It's almost overwhelming how adorable and wholesome Marta is

I'm not a climber... I'm not a traveler... But I enjoy watching people traveling and looking up random interesting things. This was probably one of the best things I have seen... and once again.... I don't care about climbing. But trying "the worst rated" has been done a million times. Having someone do it and praise the place is amazing. Imagine what that can mean to that little gym.
Kudos!
the gyms rating went up alot!
Since I'm early too...
Magnus thank you so much for the videos, you inspired me to start climbing and I've fallen in love. I try to go bouldering with friends every weekend now!
Love from NYC
This is the video I was hoping you'd film in Tokyo. Just having a chill session with locals. So much fun to watch!
Amazing content Magnus and Marte! Was an truly incredible tree videos marathon, of what Tokyo climbing had to offer! Thank you, have a good one
19:44 - That was the sweetest reaction I've seen to anything in like... ever...
You've just saved that place from dying, due to others who have no idea what they're doing... Never judge a book by its cover.
perfectly sums it up,even if it got alot of fake reviews now,if the gym is approved good by magnus then it deserves it
now the gym is being the highest rated, Magnus can make a video of "Trying the Highest rated Climbing Gym in Tokyo" and go to exact same place lol
well, it happened!
@@konzetsu6068 😀😀😀 Yeah I saw that yesterday amazing
24:05 "this is not we expected. This gym is too damn good" with a serious face then sudden smile and laugh
That Smile and Laugh was Because of Marte..😊
The first gym they went to felt like the worst rated climbing gym in Tokyo.
That place was trash lol
Agreed
I think they said $30 each for just bouldering. I thought my gym was bad at $23 for both.
@@grandaddy0807 Or they were robbed because they thought "rich European"
I've been watching your videos for awhile now and just realized after you said "a lot of you guys watching aren't subscribed" I looked down and realized I wasnt subscribed?! Well I am now🔥🤙 loved the video also, the level of talent I just witnessed is world class!
Tokyo's hole in the wall gym's have a crazyyyyyy culture to them that's like totally opposite to the more flashy and modern gyms. Put the gym in the description!
Its called Quail Climbing Gym , it's name is in the video and it's the first result that shows up if you google it.
@@Seymour101 I imagine several thousands of people just searched for that particular gym after this video was published
It has 4.9 rating now
This video reminded me so much of the friendliness of Japanese culture - we lived in Japan in the mid eighties and when we were in Tokyo for a holiday last year, many positive things were still the same! Visited a Crossfit Gym and one of the owners even offered to be my judge on the long 19.5 workout. Nihon ga dai suki desu - I ❤️ Japan!
Just started watching you, I've been intrested in climbing for a very long time but never started for some reason. I think you just started my climbing career, thank you!
You guys are so humble to watch, thank you for great content!
Magnus should visit the worst rated gym in the world XD
Next stop. Maximum security prison.
@@hop-skip-ouch8798 If there were to be climbing gyms in prison I would purposely go to prison to focus on climbing and only climbing XD
@@dubzxi2979 I think he meant that escaping the prison would be the most challenging climb
@@TabSpencerMusic Depends on your life situation, If you work full time its a little harder to do so. If you are in prison, thats all you really have.
@@TabSpencerMusic wow you must still live with mum and dad and have no job or Bills to pay if you can focus on "only climbing" either that or you speak (or type in this case) without thinking. Smh indeed.
This was awesome! It was surprisingly a very heartwarming vlog. Love the positivity at the gym; it’s so much fun when everyone is super nice and helpful.
I loved the video! As always :D Thank you for the amazing content Magnus. You are a great man, very humble and kind :) I'm glad you had a good time on that gym and also that you left a good review for them! and a new Record as well! :D Also, I can't believe how fast time flies, this video was uploaded almost 3 years ago, that is, I've been following you for about 3-4 years, I remember very well when you went to McDonalds with Marte, I was so happy for both of you that day you uploaded the video :D it was like the start of a true love story. It makes me happy that you met and that you're still together
little sidenote, i don't know about everyone else but i'd love to see the crowd's reaction in the shots too as you show up and pull off your crazy stuff.
Jay R yeah definitely me too!
It would be great to see but i doubt a lot of people would want to be in the video
