who ever decided to put TWO brutes in one area is insane, also i personally find it easier to get a DLC bosses health down low then it is to fight those two (little heads up, thats not the only double brute fight in those depths) it is my most hated depths
Given you're going with the slower build I think it might be better to get into the habit of blocking rather than dodging. I don't recall how many of their attacks are guardable but it might give you some breathing room between their attacks to possible do something to them. There should also be passives and skills that I believe support guard play as well quite a lot so you can look into those too ( like giving you more of your focus gauge per guard so perhaps you could use that to try and go for the launch special that makes you invincible for the duration of the animation though I'm not sure if they can be launched but it might be worth trying ). A partner might make it easier since there's another target but there's also the chance they gang up on them and insta gib them. It's kind of a crap shoot either way but the partner I believe would allow higher chances of those win conditions to occur. You've technically already broken the rule once doing that one invasion in Cathedral but I understand if you don't want to break it again. The game clearly is made with two members/co-op in mind which in a sense kind of sucks but such is how it goes lol
I remember when I faced those brutes and got smashed by then for hours they are also the reason I started to use cheesy tactics to one shot one of then right at the start and having a companion doesn't help with then they just go for 1 target and kill your companions right away.

Well I underestimated how BAD they are Reached the butterfly, died once like a dummy cause I suddenly forgor how to combo drain and proceeded to sacrifice my health for ichor and get hit right after 😂 After that though I proceeded to die 5 more times and I genuinely think all of those are fault of shit I used as in my frustration I proceeded to switch and first try her... hitless... with the bayonet build, but using the pipe 😅 I think I'm just gonna sell all the bayonets I'll find for haze
so the warped blade is not a good choice of weapon, since it deals innate blood damage and most enemies and especially bosses resist blood, the bosses especially so with final boss having a 65% resistance to blood damage, a better weapon to go for would be the Black Great Sword which you can farm from the black knight in the ashen cavern, it's charged heavy is a guaranteed stagger even on bosses.
Ok you know what's THE worst part of this game? It's controller controls 😅 I didn't die outside of butterfly boss fight once until I got my third depths map and got invaded there. Enemies were dropping lots of random crap and my character decided that picking up stuff is more important than dodging, cause I put dodge button on A. Then I decided this is not acceptable and tried putting dodge on B and omg what kind of moron thought this is a good layout! 😂 Shit sucked so hard, I got killed in stupidest ways possible and realised I can instead put it as I had before, but switch confirmation button to B and cancel to A and now every time I have to interact with anything or use menus I'm dying inside more and more...
I did it in 9 tries with the Ishtar bloodcode which is further in the game I think. I had 2 attack buffs and the fire buff, one ice resistant buff and an all element resistant buff and one for better stagger resistence. For some buffs you have to play the game further. You can get the ice resistant buff from mia's blood code. This alone makes a big differenz. Maybe use the iron will buff instead of the other defense buff for more defense for more than one attack. TLDR is: get as many defense and ice resistants you can and tank them away. Good luck if you haven't beaten them yet. ps. I hope this was not to much bsg😅
Started playing again and now I remember why I didn't have much trouble mobbing in this game. Genuinely hard to have a hard time when you're spamming high damage move, that also has tons of I-frames on it and fills your ichor TLDR I backstab A LOT XD Kinda wanna avoid it for more challenge... Time to start parrying then! 😂
I normally like to stick to my own self made builds (even if they suck lol), but I do use your guys' advice sometimes. If I get desperate, I'll probably ask you guys for a good build to use. But I'm not desperate yet 😤

What people seem to lack understanding is in this fight you NEED to be hyper aggressive AND PARRY
Oh... the double Boreal Brutes... One of my nightmares back when I first played Code Vein years ago (the other being the damn Butterfly of Delirium).

6:54 One of the worst mini bosses to fight in this game. Literally have to cheese this one by spamming fire attacks and bringing a partner.

The only way against the two brutes is using fire to melt their armor. And even then, it's still challenging.
And it doesnt even matter if you have a companion with you, the brutes will still go after you :(

I think I am gonna try them on ng+. I will update this comment later with the number of tries and stat infos ( two hand sword build btw. )
